The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, December 19, 2023:
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Zende is incredulous when R.J. receives a position Zende wants. Brooke reflects on her unique connection with Eric.
B&B Recap Today
Ridge is on the phone with Brooke when RJ walks into his office. RJ asks how she is doing with everything going on with Eric and Ridge tells him that it’s hard on her and everyone else. Ridge says that is why they need good news and he and RJ working together is that good news everyone needs. Ridge thinks Eric would be happy that they are working together and hopes his father is okay with his decision to not turn off his life support. RJ tells him that he made the right decision.
B&B Recap Today
Zende is talking about Eric with Luna in the design room. He wishes he had known what was going on but understands why Eric wanted to keep it secret. He is happy that Eric had Luna and RJ to depend on and he is determined to help Ridge realize Eric’s vision.
Carter goes into the design room while Luna is on the phone with a buyer who wants to give his best wishes to Eric. She tells Carter there have been many phone calls like it. Carter tells her that it’s impossible to picture Forrester without Eric and she asks who will lead the company if he can’t come back. Carter tells her that Steffy and Ridge will run the company together like Eric would have wanted but it will still be sad to not have Eric there. Luna tells him that Zende wants to finish Eric’s final collection for him. Carter is impressed that Zende wants to do that for his grandfather and Luna just hopes Ridge agrees.
B&B Recap Today
Brooke tells Hope about what happened after Eric’s surgery and Hope says that she is sure Eric will wake up. Brooke admits that she’s very scared. Hope wants her mother to be honest with her about how she’s feeling. Brooke admits that she has been so focused on everyone else that she hasn’t dealt with her own feelings. She confides in Hope that she doesn’t know what she would do if Eric died.
Brooke calls Donna to get an update and finds out that nothing has changed with Eric. Brooke tells Hope that they have to wait to see if the experimental procedure worked and Hope says that the waiting is the hardest part. Brooke gets a text from Donna with a list of things she needs her to bring to her and Hope helps Brooke gather it all together. Brooke tells Hope about Ridge’s plans to finish Eric’s collection with RJ and tells her that she hopes it will bring Ridge and RJ closer together.
B&B Recap Today
RJ encourages Ridge to take a break but he wants to keep working. Zende comes in and asks if there is any update about Eric and they tell him there is not. Zende tells Ridge that he made the right decision for Eric and that he thinks they owe it to him to finish his line. Ridge agrees that they need to finish the collection and Zende asks when they can get started. Zende suggests that RJ can help them by sharing what Eric told him when they were working together.
Ridge asks RJ to let him speak to Zende alone and after he leaves, Ridge tells Zende that he will find a way for him to help him and RJ on the line. Zende argues with Ridge about his decision and feels he is more experienced and a better choice than RJ is. He tells Ridge that he can do other collections with his son but not this one.
B&B Recap Today
While his father talks to Zende, RJ goes to the design room to talk to Luna and tells her about Ridge wanting to work with him on Eric’s final collection. Luna is happy for him but can’t stop thinking about what Zende told her.
