RJ is skillfully sketching in the CEO office at Forrester Creations when Thomas and Hope make their entrance. Thomas is amazed by the speed at which RJ is sketching and expresses his surprise at RJ’s talent. RJ explains that he needs to capture an idea on paper quickly before it slips his mind. Hope inquires about his plans and RJ reveals that he is meeting Luna at the beach house to for a special date for tonight, hence his need to leave early. “Lucky Luna,” remarks Hope. Both she and Thomas agree that RJ and Luna make a lovely couple.

They banter about the unanimous approval of RJ’s relationship with Luna. He asserts that he feels fortunate. RJ talks about their first sexual encounter, expressing his efforts to make everything perfect. Hope decides to shift the conversation. Thomas remarks that RJ is smitten, to which RJ concurs and mentions that he and Luna have already professed their love for each other. After RJ exits, Hope admits that all the talk of love and romance has her thinking about him and the ring as they share a kiss.

Luna confidently refuses to lie to RJ as her mother suggested. She firmly believes that she cannot make the situation any worse than it already is. When Zende arrives in a state of panic, Poppy attacks him and questions him about his encounter with her daughter. Zende maintains his stance that he did not take advantage of her, Luna defends him, insisting that he is not at fault. Feeling the weight of the situation, she realizes that they owe Zende an explanation and admits that it’s her mother’s fault and her “special” mints. Zende is taken aback by this revelation, calling out Poppy for her actions. Luna resolves to tell RJ the truth, as Zende acknowledges his feelings for Luna while still aligning with her mother’s desire to keep the secret from RJ.

Later, Zende is focused at the office, sketching away, but he cannot shake the thoughts of what he recently learned. Meanwhile, RJ is at the Beach House preparing a special date for him and Luna. Even though she insists that she’s not feeling completely better, she joins him there.

Sensing that something is amiss, RJ asks her what’s wrong and reminds her that she can confide in him about anything. Reluctantly, she admits that there’s something important he needs to know about last night.
