It was a milestone moment filled with sun, smiles, and mother-daughter magic. Emmy-winning actress Beth Maitland, best known for her role as Traci Abbott on The Young and the Restless, made her first-ever trip to Australia—and it was all for a very special reason: her daughter’s birthday.
Maitland took the time to capture sweet moments from her trip, starting right from the very beginning. Thanks to short video clips and photos she shared on Instagram, it’s clear she had the time of her life.
In one caption, she shared, “Absolutely blown away by the cheerful kindness of everyone I’ve met so far. People in queues.” She continued, “People on trains. People in coffee shops. Helpful. Kind. Sweet. Gentle. I’m having a great time and haven’t gone far from my lodgings. Thank you, Australia.”
In another caption, Maitland said, “I have literally never had a holiday like this. Going places. Learning things. Working a little. Eating and drinking new things. Meeting exceptional people. Being flexible and in the moment. Wow. It was worth waiting for.”
