The excitement for Beyond the Gates is palpable! We now have a premiere date for the newest daytime soap opera on the block, and in addition, the show has launched its official social accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
With the show set for a Monday, Feb. 24, 2025 premiere, the series commenced production in Atlanta, Ga., this month and stars Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnee Duplaix, Karla Mosley, Alex Alegria, Lauren Buglioli, Brandon Claybon, Timon Kyle Durrett, Sean Freeman, Ben Gavin, Marquita Goings, Jibre Hordges, Jen Jacob, Maurice Johnson, Trisha Mann-Grant, Mike Manning, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ambyr Michelle, Colby Muhammad and Arielle Prepetit.
Beyond the Gates is set in a leafy Maryland suburb near Washington, D.C., in one of the most affluent African American counties in the U.S. Here lies a posh gated community with tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions. At its heart are the Duprees, a powerful multi-generational family, embodying Black royalty. Yet behind these pristine walls are secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered, with those living outside the gates watching closely. In this world, characters live, love, work, and play, navigating life with varying degrees of grace.
Michele Val Jean is the creator, executive producer and showrunner alongside executive producers Sheila Ducksworth, Robert Guza Jr., Julie Carruthers, Leon W. Russell, Derrick Johnson, Kimberly Doebereiner and Anna Saalfeld.
