Jaden Lucas Miller is currently turning up the heat on Beyond the Gates with his recurring role as Tyrell Richardson. Now, he’s set to expand his footprint with a new role in the upcoming Tyler Perry drama, Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas.
BET+ recently announced the pickup of Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas. It is a new BET+ original series and the first original to launch under Mr. Perry’s recently expanded, multi-year content partnership with BET Media Group.
About the Show
Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas follows five close friends—Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette. The ladies navigate life, love, and the challenges that come with divorce, marriage, and dating. As they lean on each other through heartbreak and healing, their biggest test comes from within their own circle, challenging their loyalty, character, and true bond of sisterhood.
As a fresh extension of the Sistas universe, the series is set to premiere on Monday, June 9, on BET. It will be also available to stream on BET+ starting Tuesday, June 10.
The ensemble cast features big names such as LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, Jennifer Sears, RonReaco Lee, DeVon Franklin, Donovan Christie Jr., and Robert Christopher Riley (who plays Carlton on Beyond the Gates).
Who will Miller Play on Divorced Sistas?
In this series, Miller takes on the role of Laz. He hinted on X that the character is “totally different from previous characters!!!” suggesting that Tyrell is nothing like Laz. Interesting!
