Fans of Beyond the Gates should prepare for a bit of a break in the action next week. Just like we saw recently, the show is scheduled to be preempted on Tuesday, April 28, and Wednesday, April 29, 2026. In place of the usual family drama and corporate intrigue, CBS will be airing live UEFA coverage.

A Coast-to-Coast Shutdown

While sports preemptions are a regular occurrence for CBS daytime programming, this particular event is hitting the newest soap the hardest. Beyond the Gates is currently the only daytime drama that will be preempted coast to coast for the full two-day block.

Other fan favorites like The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful will also see some shifts, but their impact is usually localized. Depending on where you live, those shows might be affected on one coast while remaining fully available on the other. For Beyond the Gates viewers, however, the hiatus is nationwide.

When to Catch New Episodes

The good news is that we aren’t losing the entire week. The show is still serving up plenty of drama around the sports break. You can catch brand-new episodes of Beyond the Gates on the following days:

  • Monday, April 27: New Episode
  • Tuesday, April 28: Preempted
  • Wednesday, April 29: Preempted
  • Thursday, April 30: New Episode
  • Friday, May 1: New Episode

While it is never fun to miss out on our daily dose of the Duprees, Hamiltons, Richardsons, and more, the episodes we are getting look to be packed with drama. Between the sibling rivalries heating up and the usual tense confrontations, there is plenty to keep us talking during the two-day gap.

Make sure to set your DVRs accordingly, so you don’t miss the fallout when the show returns on Thursday. Stay tuned to Soap Opera News for the full detailed schedule and more spoilers as they become available.
