A Big Update for Anita
Anita (Tamara Tunie) is finally about to get the medical news she has been waiting for.
Battling cancer is never an easy road to travel, and enduring chemotherapy is a massive feat all on its own.
Through every rough day and every small victory, Anita did exactly what she had to do to stay in the fight. Luckily, she had her family sticking by her side through thick and thin.
Now, the wait is almost over as Anita sits down with her oncologist for a major update. Whether it is the news she’s been praying for or a new hurdle to clear, we will find out soon enough.
Suspicion and Secrets at the Gates
Elsewhere, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) is turning up the heat on Hayley (Marquita Goings) with some very tough questions.
He is clearly suspicious of Lynette (Dominique Madison) and is determined to get to the bottom of the situation. While some of his questions might catch Hayley off guard, she is a famously quick thinker who knows how to stay one step ahead.
Bill is hunting for the truth, but it is a safe bet that Hayley will keep lying through her teeth rather than coming clean.
Speaking of Lynette, Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) is taking a much more hands-on approach where she is concerned. He is ready to see if his direct involvement can finally get the results he wants.
Meanwhile, Smitty (Mike Manning) is busy covering his tracks in front of Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix). He is the one who hacked into her computer, a move that could easily put her career in jeopardy. Smitty is doing his best to act natural, but if Nicole digs too deep, his digital fingerprints might be hard to erase. Especially since Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) saw him in the office.
Finally, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) steps up to offer some support to Naomi. In a town full of secrets and power plays, a little genuine loyalty might be exactly what Naomi needs to get through the week.
