Reach Out, Reach Out and Touch Someone
Cousins Kat (Colby Nixon) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), along with marrieds Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), will all have reason to turn to each other for encouragement. The most obvious reason would be because of Bill’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) latest hospitalization, with his daughters Naomi and Chelsea once again enduring hours of waiting during tests and other diagnostic procedures.
But sometime detective pair Jacob and Kat will be in need of buoying as well. Each of them is outside of the Bill loop, so are they going to be supporting wife and cousin, respectively, regarding Bill, or is another cause for solace about to pop up?
Then there’s Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), who isn’t connected to any of it despite her efforts. Apparently, she’ll be a beacon of light for a person who could use a boost. Could Leslie, who hates Bill for threatening the life of the then-unborn Eva (Ambyr Michelle), actually offer comfort to one of his many relatives? Or is the person in distress for whom Leslie shows up for someone else entirely? Might clinic newbie Noah (Nick Hagelin) require assistance from his unexpected benefactor?
Someone who might really need Band-Aids, of the emotional kind, anyway, will be Joey (Jon Lindstrom), after Vernon (Clifton Davis) descends upon him and lays down another smackdown. What has the former senator not choosing silence this time, and why has he picked this moment to go in, figurative guns blazing?
You Rock My World, You Know You Did
Life couldn’t be more perfect for Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Kial (Greg Vaughan) since the sex bomb shrink walked Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) to the curb and let the orbiting orthopedist know he’s now her Number One. So what’s coming up that’s got these shaggers shaken?
Nicole wouldn’t be willing to drop everything because Bill the Fixer is once again bedridden, and Kial’s only problem ’til now has been trying to make sure son Noah doesn’t become destitute while pursuing his rock star dreams. Yet what’s about to happen is enough to throw the newly-minted couple for a loop.
Bill Needs a Favor
Dani’s (Karla Mosley) gotten a lot better at living her new life without Bill – without firearms at that – but she’s still got herself firmly planted at Garland Memorial during Bill’s latest health crisis. (Did they give him a “next visit free” card to punch?) The resurrected supermodel just got through giving Hayley (Marquita Goings) a piece of her mind that involved slipping that Bill is her husband…whoops…and now said “husband” has something to ask of elevator mistress.
Did Bill hear about Dani’s misnomer and is trying to capitalize on it? Might Bill feel he’s at death’s door and needs Dani, all their drama and intrigue aside, to take care of something should he go to the great Bar Association in the sky?
Whatever it is, Hayley’s going to get wind of it, and the hospital better hope it’s got volcano insurance, because Bill’s ask is going to have the would-be murderess spewing lava to spare!
