A Confession
Dani (Karla Mosley) has been sitting on a huge secret, and she knows it could cause serious problems if Andre (Sean Freeman) ever finds out.
For a while, she convinces herself that staying quiet is the safest move. But secrets have a way of coming out, especially when guilt starts to creep in.
Eventually, Dani comes clean and admits to Andre that she kissed Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett).
Oh boy.
So, how will Andre react? Will he brush it off and choose to forgive her, or will this confession plant seeds of doubt he can’t ignore? Dani may insist it meant nothing, but should Andre be worried that she might still have lingering feelings for her ex? Only time will tell.
Smitty and Jacob Team Up Again
Meanwhile, Smitty (Mike Manning) and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) are back doing what they do best. Working a case together.
In this episode, Smitty meets with his source while Jacob continues to make solid progress on his undercover assignment. It’s always good to see these two back in sync, and things finally seem to be moving in the right direction. Could this be the breakthrough they’ve been waiting for?
Chelsea Is Shocked by Anita’s New Look
Elsewhere, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) is completely stunned when she sees Anita’s (Tamara Tunie) latest transformation.
Anita has made the difficult decision to cut her hair after beginning to experience hair loss, one of the heartbreaking side effects of cancer treatment. Turning to Dani for support, Anita listens when Dani makes a bold suggestion. Soon enough, Anita takes control of the situation and chops off her locks.
When Chelsea sees her next, she’s definitely in for a surprise.
Hayley Makes a Move, and Bill Has a Surprise
Beyond the Gates spoilers for February 4 also reveal that Hayley (Marquita Goings) turns on the charm and flirts with Izaiah (David Lami Friebe). It’s hard not to wonder what she’s really after this time. Is this innocent fun, or does Hayley have an agenda?
And as for Bill, he’s got a surprise lined up for Caroline (Ellie Wang). What could it be? Knowing Bill, it could be just about anything.
