Is Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) finally ready to move on from Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson)?
It sure looks that way. In a bold move, Nicole serves Ted with divorce papers — and according to spoilers, he does not see it coming. Despite how rocky things have been between them, Ted had been holding on to hope that, somehow, they’d find their way back to each other. That’s his version of the story.
Nicole’s? She seems done. Totally over it. She looks ready to cut ties for good and embrace whatever’s next, whatever that may be.

Meanwhile, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is helping a very nervous June (Jasmine Burke) prepare for a huge moment.
Thanks to Jacob (Jibre Hordges), they’ve uncovered a shocking truth: Ron and Cecile — the children June put up for adoption years ago — are actually Samantha (Najah Jackson) and Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller).
This is going to be emotional. For Samantha and Tyrell. For Smitty (Mike Manning) and Martin (Brandon Claybon). And especially for June.
Leslie Gets A Visitor
Beyond the Gates spoilers for August 14 also tease a jaw-dropping surprise for Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant).
When she opens the door, she freezes. Her jaw drops. Her eyes go wide. And the only thing she can say is, “Oh my sweet baby Jesus.”

Elsewhere, Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) are comforting their daughter.
