Life as Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) knows it is about to change, and fast.
She definitely wasn’t expecting Peaches (Arle Michel) to show up at her doorstep out of the blue, and she really wasn’t ready to hear the shocking news that Peaches is dying. But that’s just the beginning. Peaches has been holding onto a big secret, a confession that could completely rewrite what Leslie thought she knew about herself. It has to do with Leslie’s mother, and fans are already speculating who it could be. Could the rumors be true? Is Barbara actually her real mom? Things are about to get messy and fast.
According to Beyond the Gates spoilers for August 18, Leslie learns that her luck might have just taken a major turn for the better. Could she be about to inherit something huge? Like, life-changing, rich-rich level huge? If so, this could flip her entire world upside down in the best (or worst?) way.
Doug Gives Advice and Shares Intel
Meanwhile, Doug (Jason Graham) is handing out advice. First, he has some guidance for Ted (Keith D. Robinson), who’s dealing with the emotional fallout of his upcoming divorce from Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix). It’s not an easy road, and Doug’s insight might be exactly what Ted needs right now.
But Doug isn’t done. He’s also sharing some critical information with Jacob (Jibre Hordges), something serious enough that it could shift Jacob’s entire perspective. If we had to guess, we’d say it’s got something to do with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). What else would get Doug talking like this?
Ashley Asks Shanice for Help
And finally, Beyond the Gates spoilers for August 18 say Ashley (Jen Jacob) finds herself needing backup. With Derek (Ben Gavin) back in the hospital, she reaches out to Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) for help. Is Derek on the road to recovery, or are things about to get even worse? Shanice might be his last hope.
