Anita Worries About Her Vocal Cords
The latest preview for the week of September 14 kicks off with Anita worrying about her vocal cords.
So much so that she goes investigating on the internet to see if chemotherapy can permanently impact one’s vocal cords.
That’s clearly weighing heavily on Anita’s mind.
Chelsea Has a Question for Kat
Meanwhile, at Uptown, Chelsea asks Kat a rather pointed question.
“Can you honestly say you’re not into Izaiah at all?” she asks Kat.
But Kat insists that is not the case. And she even takes things up a notch by asking Google to translate into Spanish so her cousin-bestie can get it through her thick skull that she is not into her half-sister’s beau.
Kat certainly seems determined to make Chelsea understand that there is nothing going on between her and Izaiah.
But Chelsea isn’t exactly letting the subject go.
Ted Confronts Leslie
Over at Orphey Gene’s, Ted confronts Leslie while she is there with Marcel.
He calls it pathetic how she constantly tries to ruin things for Shanice and him. Marcel interjects and asks the doc to tone it down.
“Hell no!” Ted exclaims.
Leslie, meanwhile, seems to be having the time of her life watching the guys “fight over” her.
Jacob Has Questions for Smitty
In other parts of town, Jacob presents Smitty with some surveillance footage and asks if that is him.
“Appears to be,” Smitty notes. Jacob proceeds to ask what Max is slipping Smitty in the photo.
However, Naomi butts in.
“Are you bringing charges against my client?” she asks.
Dani Owes Andre an Apology
Then there is Dani.
She tells Andre that she owes him an apology.
He wonders what for.
But according to Dani, it’s not a what.
It’s a who.
That certainly sounds like there is more behind this apology than Andre realizes.
Who is Dani talking about, and what does she need to apologize to Andre for? The next thing we see is Bill making a shocking admission to Dani.
Bill tells her that he thinks he is dying. And then we see him going unconscious behind the desk at his office at the law firm.
