Nicole Wants to Come Clean
Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) has been dealing with some seriously dirty fantasies about her ex-husband, Ted (Keith D. Robinson), which makes things incredibly complicated since she is currently dating both Kial (Greg Vaughan) and Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley). It is pretty obvious to anyone watching that she is not fully over him.
While Nicole already filled Kial in on what has been going through her head, it is Ted’s turn for an earful.
According to spoilers, Nicole decides to come clean with Ted about these lingering fantasies. She approaches him and states that it is finally time they have an honest conversation. Telling your ex that you are fantasizing about them is a huge risk. Is Nicole actually ready for that, and more importantly, is Ted prepared for what he is about to hear?
Shanice Struggles With Derek’s Death
Meanwhile, Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) is having an incredibly difficult time coping with Derek’s (Ben Gavin) death.
The two became close before he died and even dated for a while. Although their relationship did not last, they stayed good friends. So you know, that bond makes his death even harder for her to process.
It goes without saying that Derek’s death has shaken the entire town, but Shanice seems especially devastated by the loss. Right now, she can barely wrap her head around what happened.
Jacob Is Determined to Avenge Derek
Elsewhere in town, Andre (Sean Freeman) confides his fears to Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla). At the same time, Beyond the Gates spoilers for June 1 reveal that Izaiah (Lami) demands a straight answer from Joey (Jon Lindstrom).
Meanwhile, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) also becomes unsettled by Jacob’s (Jibre Hordges) determination to avenge Derek’s death.
Jacob is overwhelmed with emotion after losing his best friend, especially knowing Derek took a bullet meant for him. That guilt and grief are fueling his anger, and he is ready to make everyone involved pay.
Jacob has made up his mind that he will not stop until the impaler and everyone connected to the red market ring are brought down.
