Kat and Izaiah End Up on Opposite Sides
There’s never been much love lost between Kat (Colby Nixon) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle). That’s a fact.
Still, despite their complicated history, Kat doesn’t want anything bad to happen to the sister she didn’t even know existed until later in life.
As Eva’s loved ones wait for positive news and family members undergo testing to see if they’re a match, everyone is on edge.
And with emotions running high comes tension. Lots of it.
According to spoilers for June 17, Kat and Izaiah find themselves on opposite sides. In fact, Kat completely unloads on him.
Shanice Extends an Unexpected Olive Branch
While Kat and Izaiah are at odds, something surprising is happening elsewhere in Fairmont Crest.
We never thought we’d see the day when Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) shared a peaceful moment.
Yet that’s exactly what’s coming.
Spoilers reveal that Shanice extends an olive branch to Leslie, as she faces oen of the most difficult moments of her life.
As viewers know, Leslie has a way of getting under almost everyone’s skin. Shanice has certainly had her share of run-ins with her.
But right now, none of that matters.
Shanice understands that Leslie is living through every parent’s nightmare as she waits for news about her daughter. Sometimes, even enemies can find common ground when a family is hurting.
Ted Makes a Desperate Request
Elsewhere, Kail (Greg Vaughan) returns to the scene and is there to support Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix), while Jan (Jerri Tubbs) offers comfort to Ashley (Jen Jacob).
Meanwhile, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) makes a huge request.

Given everything happening, it’s not hard to guess what he wants.
As family members continue getting tested to determine whether they’re a match for Eva, Kat may be someone who could potentially help. After all, Eva is her half-sister.
