A Hawthorne Celebration with a Side of Drama
The Hawthorne family is taking center stage in the upcoming episode, as they celebrate one of their own. But while joy and celebration are supposed to be at the heart of the special day, the good vibes will not last long. Izaiah (Lami) finds himself backed into a corner and issuing an ultimatum that could change everything.
As Izaiah lays down the law, his mother, Darlene (Monique Mosee), is dealing with her own internal struggle. Darlene has already made her stance abundantly clear when it comes to Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle), and to put it lightly, she does not like either of them. In fact, she had some choice words for the duo when their paths first crossed.
Despite her deep disdain, Darlene is genuinely trying her best to coexist with Eva and Leslie. She knows how much her son loves Eva, so as a supportive mother, she is willing to do whatever she has to do to make him happy. Of course, keeping the peace with someone like Leslie is always easier said than done.
Dani Passes Down Vital Motherly Wisdom
Meanwhile, the day also sees Dani (Karla Mosley) bestow some motherly wisdom onto her daughter. But which one?
Could it be Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), who is going through an incredibly dark time at the moment? Naomi is trying to process her heavy emotions while her husband Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is completely consumed by a dangerous quest to avenge his best friend Derek’s death.
On the other hand, Dani could be sitting down with Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), who also has a lot on her plate right now.
Hayley Keeps Bill in the Dark
