Monica Gives Vernon Her Answer
Following Lia Whitmore’s (Cecelia Specht) dramatic downfall and exit from Garland Memorial Hospital, the search for a new Chief of Staff is officially underway.
So far, Monica (Iona Morris Jackson) appears to be the board’s top choice for the position. Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita (Tamara Tunie) certainly believe she’d be perfect for the job, and they’ve made no secret of their support.
The only opinion that really matters, though, is Monica’s.
According to spoilers, she’s finally ready to give Vernon an answer regarding the offer. Whether she accepts the position or decides to pass, her choice could have a major impact on the future of Garland Memorial.
Nicole Turns to Anita for Advice
Meanwhile, Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) is dealing with a problem she’d rather not have.
She keeps finding herself thinking about her ex.
She knows it’s dangerous territory, especially considering where her life stands now, but that hasn’t stopped those thoughts from creeping in. Unsure of what to do, Nicole turns to the one person she trusts to give her honest advice: her mother.
Anita has lived through her share of complicated situations, so Nicole is hoping her wisdom can help her sort through her feelings before they become a bigger issue.
While Nicole seeks guidance from Anita, another family conversation unfolds elsewhere. Martin (Brandon Claybon) finds himself offering advice to his father.
Speaking of his father, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) steps in to comfort Eva (Ambyr Michelle) during a particularly difficult time.
Eva already has a lot on her plate as she works to keep the free clinic running smoothly. On top of that, life in Fairmont Crest hasn’t exactly been easy for her.
Her relationship with Izaiah (Lami) is going well, but navigating the complicated dynamics involving Darlene (Monique Mosee) and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is another story.
It’s no surprise that Eva is feeling overwhelmed. Thankfully, Ted is there to offer some support when she needs it most.
