Anita Looks Toward the Future
Life inside the gates is getting more complicated by the second.
Lately, much of the focus has been centered around the upcoming cotillion, and the high-pressure event is bringing out both the best and the worst in everyone involved.
On Thursday, May 14, Anita and Vernon sit down with Dr. Bauer to discuss what comes next in Anita’s health journey.
Anita has shown incredible strength throughout her cancer battle, and viewers recently watched her finally get the chance to ring the bell. It was an emotional moment and one that clearly meant everything to her family.
Now comes the next chapter.
Thankfully, Dr. Bauer may be able to offer Anita and Vernon some much-needed clarity about what the future could look like moving forward.
Samantha Faces More Pressure
While the adults are focused on serious real-life issues, the younger crowd is dealing with a different kind of battle.
The Belleclaires continue making life difficult for Samantha ahead of the cotillion. This time, they go head-to-head with Nicole before turning their attention right back to Samantha.
Their goal seems pretty obvious. They want to shake Samantha’s confidence before her big debut.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the Belleclaires are not about to let anyone outshine them without a fight, Dupree or not.
Joey Lands in Hot Water
Elsewhere, Joey finds himself dealing with trouble of his own.
Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal that Joey somehow lands himself in the doghouse with Vanessa. Whether it is connected to his questionable connections or simply a bad decision, Vanessa is clearly not pleased.
And knowing Vanessa, Joey is definitely going to need a very good explanation.
Not everything happening on Thursday is full of tension, though.
Donnell receives a surprising gesture that leaves him unexpectedly emotional.
Meanwhile, Mona shares a heartfelt conversation with Randy, and whatever she says ends up hitting him much harder than he anticipated.
