Is the Plasma Ring Finally Going Down?
It feels like the walls are finally closing in on the plasma ring operation. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Smitty (Mike Manning) have been putting in overtime on their undercover investigation, and they’re desperate for a win.
They’ve spent so much time wearing disguises and using fake names that they’re more than ready to get back to their real lives. They’ve made some huge progress lately, and the finish line seems to be in sight. But in a place like Fairmont Crest, things are rarely as simple as they look.
While the investigators are feeling hopeful, Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) is living a total nightmare. He only got involved in this mess to make enough cash to help with his mom’s medical bills, but it has cost him big time. After recently getting stabbed, things just went from bad to worse. Now, he’s facing a terrifying life-or-death deadline that could change everything.
The tension doesn’t stop there. Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) corners Lia (Cecelia Specht) with some tough questions, and you have to wonder if this is finally about her deep involvement with the ring. We all know she’s neck-deep in the plasma situation, so maybe we’re about to get the answers we’ve been waiting for.
Ted Tries to Fix Things
Beyond the Gates spoilers for May 15 also tease that Ted (Keith D. Robinson) turns to Monica (Iona Morris Jackson) for help with Shanice (Ernestine Johnson).
Things have been a little rocky lately, and Ted is clearly hoping to smooth things over before they get worse. Whether Monica can actually help is another question.
Elsewhere, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) supports Samantha (Najah Jackson) during a difficult moment. But as the Cotillion gets closer, Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) leaves his sister in tears.
