Smitty Worries Martin Is Ignoring the Warning Signs
Smitty has a whole lot on his plate right now. Getting arrested for a crime he didn’t commit is bad enough on its own, but having the whole arrest leaked online makes things ten times worse! The online fallout is steadily causing chaos and could easily wreck his career—and not just his, but Martin’s, too.
However, Martin is doing his best to stay optimistic through the storm. But will a little positive thinking really be enough to save them? That feels pretty doubtful right about now! We all know the truth will eventually come to light—it always does in Fairmont Crest—and we know Smitty is completely innocent. The real problem is that the evidence turning up (though clearly planted) only digs his hole deeper. Despite Martin’s hopeful attitude, Smitty can’t help worrying that his partner is ignoring the writing on the wall.
Dani Preps for a Major Moment, but Andre Is Not on Board
Elsewhere in town, Dani is getting ready for a huge milestone. She has enjoyed a ton of success throughout her life and career, and now she is finally ready to tell her personal story to the world.
There’s just one major roadblock: Andre is against it! What kind of secrets or history is Dani looking to get out there that has Andre so worked up? Is this exact situation why she sits down with Tia Allen (Tabitha Brown) to be a special guest on her show? Time will tell, but this interview is shaping up to be an absolute bombshell!
Naomi and Jacob Struggle, Plus Chaos for Ted’s Wedding Preps
The ripple effects of Smitty’s arrest are hitting the rest of Fairmont Crest hard, too. Beyond the Gates spoilers for October 21 tease that Naomi and Jacob simply can’t keep their promises as the situation escalates. As Smitty’s lawyer, Naomi is feeling the heat, while Jacob is caught right in the crosshairs as the man handling the case. Just like everyone else, though, they are holding out hope that the truth comes out soon before more lives are ruined.
Meanwhile, Kat cries foul while getting everything prepped for Ted’s upcoming wedding! Considering how tense things have been around her family lately, Kat calling out bad behavior is no surprise. On the flip side of all the drama, her half-sister Eva and Izaiah share a sweet moment as they look back and recall romantic memories together.
Do you think Smitty can prove he was framed before his career is destroyed, and what is Dani about to tell that has Andre not supporting her? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
