Beyond the Gates spoilers for September 14 tease plenty of drama, but the biggest confrontation could be coming when Bill finally starts grilling his not-so-trustworthy wife.
Anita is still struggling to get her voice back after chemotherapy, while Nicole steps up to give her mom some much-needed support. Meanwhile, Tomas wants to fix things with Kat. But the real trouble may be brewing for Hayley.
Here’s what to expect on Monday’s BTG.
Key Takeaways
- Nicole gives her mom some much-needed support.
- Smitty warns Chelsea there’s no turning back.
- Bill is set to grill Hayley about her latest lies.
Anita Struggles to Find Her Voice
Anita (Tamara Tunie) has been struggling ever since undergoing chemotherapy, and she’s been working hard to get her voice back on track.
But every time she tries, there’s a crack.
She knows getting back to where she was is going to be a long road, but that doesn’t make it any easier. Anita can’t help but wonder if — and when — her voice will fully return.
And as if that wasn’t enough, she’s also having to deal with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), probably the last person she wants to be dealing with right now.
Thankfully, one of her daughters is there to offer some support.
Spoilers indicate that Nicole (Daphee Duplaix) steps up for Anita and gives her mom some words of encouragement that help steady her.
Anita has plenty on her plate, so having Nicole in her corner could mean the world to her.
While Nicole is busy giving advice to her mom, her dad, Vernon (Clifton Davis), also has some words of his own — and what he has to say surprises Martin (Brandon Claybon).
So what exactly does he say?
Tomas Wants to Fix Things with Kat
Elsewhere in town, Tomas (Alex Alegria) and Kat (Coby Nixon) had another blow-up, and things got heated enough that Tomas ended up running to Eva (Ambyr Michelle) for support.
That’s not exactly something Kat is going to love.
Considering everything that happened between Tomas and Eva before, Kat has every reason to be cautious.
It also doesn’t help that Kat and Eva have never exactly had the easiest relationship, despite being half-sisters.
After leaning on Eva, Tomas does try to make amends with Kat.
But will Kat be willing to hear him out?
That’s another story.
Smitty Warns Chelsea
Beyond that, Smitty (Mike Manning) has something important to tell Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla).
Spoilers reveal that Smitty tells her there’s no turning back.
That certainly sounds serious.
As the drama continues, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) find themselves leaning on each other.
But Naomi has also changed the game for her father.
Bill Grills Hayley
Naomi has already given Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) some pretty important information about Sammy, but now she’s revealed even more.
First, Naomi told Bill that Sammy’s real name is Randy (Maurice P. Kerry).
That’s not all. Several people who actually know him have confirmed that information, making it much harder for Bill to simply brush it off.
Then Naomi dropped another bombshell: Hayley (Marquita Goings) lied about the ultrasound. That got Bill’s attention. How could it not?
Bill has been trying to see the good in Hayley, even when the red flags keep piling up. But how much longer can he ignore them?
Look for Bill to grill Hayley and demand some answers.
Of course, we can’t help but wonder: will Hayley actually give him the truth?
Because every time she gets caught in a suspicious situation, she seems to have another explanation ready. And so far, Bill has been willing to take her at her word.
What do you think? Is Bill finally going to see through Hayley’s lies, or will he believe her yet again? Sound off in the comments!
