Baby What A Big Surprise

Somebody’s gonna be bringing something interesting to Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), and it sounds like she’ll be potentially included in an event that’s going to bring a smile to her face. Who could possibly want an RSVP from the town pariah? Is Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) going to finally get to bring Leslie aboard the Sheila?

Has Leslie finally performed mind control on Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and gotten his room key at the Bowman? It may well be Ted who is somehow requesting Leslie’s presence, because such a summons will be followed by Leslie’s face, as in someone getting up in it. Who has the most reason to do that these days? If your money is on Shanice (Ernestine Johnson), then you’re clearly working with Vegas odds.

Andre Stuns Vernon

In the heart of Fairmont Crest, Andre (Sean Freeman) will pay Vernon (Clifton Davis) a visit, but the get-together won’t end with the men raving over Rowena’s latest recipe. Vernon will need to pick his jaw up off the floor for some reason, and of course Dani (Karla Mosley) is the common denominator between the former senator and his photographer son-in-law.

Sounds like Andre might have news for Vernon regarding Dani and something having to do with Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett), which never goes over well at Casa Dupree. Or could Andre ‘fess up to Vernon about Heather (Ashley Jones) wanting to lure Dani into her web? We know Andre won’t be offering Vern a session at his version of Sears Portrait Studio.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Speaking of Dani, she’s been a busy supermodel these days, working her case against Hayley (Marquita Goings) instead of the runway. And between learning that ex-husband Bill almost became ex-alive and having Hayley’s gun in her face, it’s no wonder we’ll see Dani turning to Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) for a little sisterly reassurance. At least it would seem Bill is the reason Nicole is getting an earful. What else would Dani have to confide in Sissy about? Because you know she’s not gonna fink on herself and confess to that elevator nookie she had with Bill. Going down!

Meanwhile, Anita (Tamara Tunie) will find herself in the position where she has to have the back of someone she wouldn’t ordinarily support. The matriarch has been bonding — sort of — with Delulu Leslie lately, between playing her the tape of Barbara singing and allowing the volatile vamp to sit in on The Articulettes’ re-recording project. But could Anita end up a champion for someone else? Even Dani’s mama can’t turn a blind eye to Big Bad Bill almost being felled by Hoochie Mama Hayley. Who do you think will have Anita surprising herself?

Chelsea Confronts Hayley

And it’s always the quiet ones…Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) is generally pretty chill, even when she’s dealing with horribleness like the aftermath of being kidnapped by Allison (Brianna Roberts) — but something now’s got the purse designer losing control, and that something appears to be Hayley. Who wouldn’t blow a gasket with the person who tried to kill their beloved pop-pop?

Hayley might wanna make sure that weave is securely fastened, because the scuttlebutt is that things are about to get physical, and not like Olivia Newton-John’s Physical. Could Beyond the Gates be in for its first legitimate catfight? Because ooo WEE, this show is long overdue for one! Especially since we appear to be living through an age when such televised smackdowns are few and far between!
