You may know him as Dr. Ted Richardson, but actor and popular singer Keith D. Robinson is proving once again that his talents stretch far beyond the halls of Fairmont Crest. Robinson is back with another track, and this time, he’s also bringing the visuals. His latest release, “Foolish Luv,” just dropped, and fans immediately noticed a familiar face from Beyond the Gates popping up alongside him.
Earlier this year, Robinson delivered the hit Forever Bae, complete with a music video featuring Daphnee Duplaix (Nicole Dupree) as a sweet nod to Ted and Nicole’s love story on the hit CBS daytime drama. Now, in this newest video, he’s teaming up with another leading lady, the talented Trisha Mann-Grant, who plays Leslie Thomas.

The “Foolish Luv” video opens with a hilariously chaotic scene inside a store grand opening, The Man Store, where eager customers, women, are lined up to snag their customized purchase. And who’s running this wild shop? None other than Mann-Grant, in all her boss-lady glory. She introduces their newest product: the updated, upgraded, and probably slightly robotic, “Teddy Boo 3T.”
For fans of Beyond the Gates, this is a fun wink, since “Teddy Boo” is exactly what Leslie calls Ted on the show.
The video is directed by Julius Twum along with Robinson himself. Also starring in the video are Candice Marie Singleton, Juice Bigfellow, and Marleen Proctor.
All in all, “Foolish Luv” feels like another win for Robinson, and more proof that whether he’s healing patients, breaking hearts, or dropping bops, he’s staying busy… and we’re absolutely here for it.
