Several big announcements were made at TCA last night, including a fun one for All My Children fans. At the event, Susan Lucci was announced as the star of a new Hallmark Mystery movie. According to Deadline, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries closed a deal with the soap vet who is best known for playing Erica Kane on ‘AMC’. Not only will Lucci star in the movie, but she will also executive produce the movie based on the novel by Joy Fielding. The movie is set to focus on a columnist who uncovers the truth behind the crimes in the community. “We are honored to begin a mystery movie partnership with television icon Susan Lucci. We are excited to bring her creative storytelling, enthusiasm, and passion for television to our viewers and bring her perspective to the mystery genre,” shared Vicary. Congrats to Lucci!
