The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, December 13, 2023:

What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Finn explains how there still might be a chance for Eric. Ridge allows Donna to say final goodbyes to her Honeybear.
B&B Recap Today
Ridge thanks Finn for his research and says that it’s time to go see his dad to turn off the life support. However, Ridge, Steffy, and Donna debate about giving Eric a chance to live. Meanwhile, Steffy tries to convince Ridge to do the procedure, but Ridge doesn’t want his father to experience more pain. Finn understands and asks if Ridge is certain about this. He also warns that if they must proceed with the treatment, time is of the essence. Ridge confirms his decision, saying that they have to live with it for the rest of their lives.
Donna enters the room and pleads with the nurse for a minute alone with Eric. She sits beside his bed and begs him not to leave. Donna admits she’s not ready to let him go, especially after they fought so hard to be together. She expresses that she doesn’t want to see him in pain, but she’s not ready to give up on him.
B&B Recap Today
After a while, Ridge walks in with everyone and announces that it’s time. He encourages them to talk to Eric and tell him that they love him. Steffy pleads with Ridge to consider operating on Eric, Eric, but Ridge reminds her that they had a party to celebrate Eric’s life. Ridge is against the idea of operating on his dad. Steffy turns to Finn and expresses her gratitude for all that he has done.
Steffy sits by Eric’s side and admits that there are so many things she wishes she had said to him. She understands that it’s hard, but she knows that he will always be there watching over them. Brooke sits by and becomes emotional while reflecting on the time she met Eric. She doesn’t know how she will cope without him since he made the world a better place. Ridge tells his father that it’s okay to let go and be with Stephanie and Phoebe. He should be at peace. Ridhe gives Finn the signal to pull the plug. As he is about to, Eric starts opening his eyes.
B&B Recap Today
Luna assures RJ that it is natural to feel scared in such situations. RJ confesses that he knew this day would come, but he didn’t expect it to arrive so soon, and he fears that this might be the end. Meanwhile, Poppy visits them and brings some coffee to keep them company while they await news. Poppy expresses her sympathies to RJ about his granddad.
Although Poppy didn’t have the chance to know RJ’s grandfather, Luna speaks highly of him. She has heard about his accomplishments in the fashion industry and his love for his family. RJ becomes emotional and shares that he will never find a better mentor than his grandad.
