The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, December 28, 2023:
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Finn stands up for Steffy to a defiant Thomas. Xander is shocked to learn that his new doctor has a connection to the Forrester family.

Finn interrupts a conversation between Steffy and Thomas, and Thomas expresses his frustration with Steffy’s interference in his relationship.
Steffy thinks Thomas needs some time to cool off, but he insists that Steffy should keep her opinions to herself. Finn intervenes and tells Thomas that his behavior towards Steffy is not acceptable. Finn receives an alert and has to leave for a patient at the hospital.
Later, Steffy finishes a call with a supplier. She mentions that her grandfather’s recovery is being celebrated all over the world.
Thomas expresses his hope that there will be more to celebrate soon. Steffy reminds him that Eric has a long road ahead and they need to be patient. Thomas suggests that Steffy should focus her care and concern on their grandfather instead of involving herself in his relationship with Hope. Steffy defends Finn’s protective behavior towards her. Thomas acknowledges his mistakes and regrets in the past and doesn’t want to jeopardize his relationship with Hope. He asks Steffy not to undermine it, even if she doesn’t fully support it.

Finn meets his patient, Xander Avant, at the hospital. Xander tells Finn that he will be visiting mostly for manual check-ups.
During their conversation, Xander talks about his move to London, and Finn asks him about it. Xander then reflects on being terminated from Forrester Creations and needing some time to regroup.
As Xander is about to head to the examination room, he notices a wedding picture of Steffy and Finn and realizes that Finn is connected to the Forresters. Xander reveals that he used to work at Forrester and knows the family, including Thomas.
Finn becomes curious and wonders if there is something he should know. Xander expresses his doubts about Finn being a good fit for him and shares that Thomas is not who Finn thinks he is. Xander goes on to reveal that Thomas was involved in something terrible, such as murder.

Hope tells Ridge that they have nothing to worry about when it comes to her relationship with Thomas. Ridge then asks Hope if she really sees a future with his son. “Like father, like daughter, because I’m in the hot seat with you now,” Hope says.
Ridge insists he is just asking a question and wants to know if she is serious about his son. Ridge notes that the last time Thomas was serious about her, it caused a lot of problems for his family and for hers, and he would hate for history to repeat itself.
Hope insists that everything is fine and there is nothing to worry about. She asserts that they love being with each other and wonders why can’t that be enough. Hope is unable to give a guarantee because she doesn’t know what the future holds but insists that whatever is happening is between Thomas and her and them only.
Ridge informs Steffy that Hope confronted him about Steffy’s behavior towards her regarding her relationship with Thomas.
Ridge explains that Hope pointed out Steffy’s negative attitude towards them, but Steffy denies having any such attitude. She only shared her concerns about Thomas’ intense feelings for Hope, which may make him vulnerable. Steffy believes that Hope does not want a future with her brother and fears that this could end badly for him.
Meanwhile, Hope is sitting with Thomas and tells him about Ridge’s lecture and how she wished he would talk to Steffy about easing up on them. Hope understands that Ridge and Steffy care for Thomas and are worried about him. Thomas tells Hope that the love and support she has given him has made him a better man, the kind of father that his son deserves. He confesses that she has made him happier than he has ever been and proposes to her, saying that she is the woman for him and he will love her forever as he gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring.
