The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, Tuesday, December 5, 2023
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke, Katie, and Donna worry about Eric’s determination to continue the party as planned. Thorne Forrester returns to Los Angeles at the invitation of his father, Eric.
B&B Recap Today
Donna informs her sisters about Eric’s medical emergency. She confesses that she thought it was the end for Eric. Brooke offers to call the caterers and postpone the party, but Donna declines. She needs to inform everyone that the party is happening today. Katie suggests postponing the party, but Donna thinks that Eric might have a reason to push up the party. Donna wants to return to Eric in the guest house and requests that her sisters do what Eric wants them to do because it could be his last request, and they cannot let him down.
Steffy, Ridge, Carter, and Hope are discussing business at the office. Steffy asks how long they have to keep up with the charade and attend the party, but Ridge points out that Eric has not set a date yet, so maybe he changed his mind. They all agree that they need to convince Eric to conserve his strength. Steffy suggests that they don’t need a big, splashy event, considering they don’t know how much time Eric has left.
B&B Recap Today
Ridge tells the group that he has revealed the truth to Zende. They all worry about the possibility of someone slipping up. Brooke and Katie arrive and inform them that Eric had a fall yesterday and has been moved to the guest house with oxygen. Ridge suggests canceling the party, but Katie reminds him that Eric wants it to happen this afternoon. Brooke and Katie are concerned that Eric’s time may be running out. Ridge decides to make some phone calls since the party is still happening.
Ridge calls Thorne to inform him about the party. Thorne agrees to change his flight, but asks Ridge what is going on. Ridge promises to tell him everything once he gets to LA. Ridge tells them that Thorne is on his way back but Steffy notes that it’s a shame that Eric’s other children can make it. Steffy admits that it will be hard to put on the charade but Ridge says they have to do for Eric’s sake. After all, this is what he wants.
B&B Recap Today
Donna brings some items over to Eric’s house that he may need. Eric jokes that he is not dead yet, but Donna tells him to stop. Eric confesses that he was imagining a farewell party for himself tonight as he continues to use the oxygen mask. Donna advises Eric that he cannot have the party and that something could happen where everyone finds out about his illness. Eric says he doesn’t want anyone to be sad, he wants this to be a celebration. He had some time to reflect and think about himself as an artist, a man, and a father, and he wants to share that with them in one last soiree.
Donna asks him again if he’s sure he wants to do this. Eric says he will be moving to another house soon, a beautiful castle in the sky, but for now, he wants to remember things. Eric remembers his incredible journey and says he would not change that for anything. Eric considers himself a lucky man. Donna reminds him about Stephanie, and he admits that he will never be able to forget a woman like that. Eric notes that she will have a lot to say to him when he sees her, but he has his angel right there with him, the most beautiful angel. His perfect, caring, loving Donna, staying with him until the very end.
