The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, December 7, 2023:
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Eric shares a special moment with each of his family members and guests. Li becomes suspicious of why Finn is researching when he should be with Steffy at the Forrester Mansion.
B&B Recap Today
Eric is happy to have Thorne and Bridget back. They express their love for him, which makes him feel even happier.
Ridge tells Brooke that they need to ensure that Thorne and Bridget don’t let their emotions get out of control. Ridge promises to keep an eye on them.
Steffy compliments Eric, telling him that he looks very handsome. He thanks her and says that she reminds him of Stephanie. Steffy tells him that she tries to live up to her grandmother’s name. Eric notes that everything comes full circle, and he believes he will see Stephanie again in due time.
B&B Recap Today
Hope tells Thomas that tonight is going to be a night to remember, and he agrees, realizing that this may be the last time he gets to spend time with his grandfather. Hope reminds him that they have to get through this because it’s what Eric wants, and it might be their last chance to make him happy. Thomas expresses gratitude for having Hope by his side. As Eric walks over, he compliments their elegant appearance and expresses his love for seeing his family together. He assures them that their relationship is not a scandal to him, despite what some people may think, and he thinks it’s terrific. He encourages them to pursue their happiness because life is too short.
Eric walks around and greets his family and guest. He encourages them to enjoy the party. RIdge and Brooke check in with Thorne and Bridget to see how they are holding up. Bridget says she is a doctor and wishes she could use her knowledge and connections to help her dad instead she has to pretend she doesn’t know he is ill. Thorne notes they have been away for a long time and they have lost so much time that they will never get back. Bridget is emotional and admits that she is so scared.
Eric tells Donna that she looks beautiful and always sensational. He feels lucky to have her by his side during all of this. He says that she doesn’t deserve this and that she didn’t sign up for it. Eric struggles and Donna helps him sit down. Everyone is looking at them and Eric says that he is getting a little older, but that’s all. Donna goes to get him some water. Steffy walks over and apologizes for Finn’s absence. She’s not sure why he’s not there, but she really wanted him to be there. Eric understands, considering he is a doctor. Eric says that Steffy married a remarkable man that makes her happy, and that’s all he wants for his beautiful granddaughter.
Donna’s sisters tell her that she is doing well. Donna wonders what she is going to do when Eric is gone. Eric kicks off the party and tells Donna he wants to dance with her in his arms one last time. They dance as everyone looks on.
B&B Recap Today
Finn is busy working when he receives messages from Steffy. He decides to ignore them. Li notices him and asks why he is working when he should be with Steffy. Li wonders why there is a big party at the Forrester estate.
Finn explains that Eric just wants to spend time with his family. Li thinks that’s even more reason Finn should be there and advises him to call it a night and go be with his wife. However, Finn tells Li that he is working on something important. Li wonders if Finn is keeping something from her. Later, Steffy calls Finn and he tells her he is finishing up work. She begs him to get there and he promises he will be there as soon as he finishes.
Eric almost falls but blames it on the champagne. He delivers a speech that he will cherish this moment forever.
