The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, Thursday, January 11, 2024:
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Finn pressures Steffy to point blank ask Thomas about Emma’s death. Liam is shocked to learn of Thomas’s proposal to Hope.
B&B Recap Today, January 11, 2024
Steffy agrees to talk to her brother, to put all the misunderstandings to rest. Steffy firmly believes that her brother is innocent, but Finn reminds her that there are still many unanswered questions that only Thomas can answer. Steffy points out that the police had cleared her brother of any wrongdoing. Although she agrees to talk to her brother, Steffy thinks it’s pointless as she is sure of his innocence.
After Steffy leaves, Li comes in and notices that Steffy didn’t seem happy. Li asks if they were arguing, but Finn clarifies that they were merely disagreeing about Thomas. Finn expresses his concern about Hope’s safety and her involvement with Thomas after everything he did years ago.
Li reminds him of the complex history between his wife and Hope and advises him not to get too involved in protecting Hope. Finn promises that he will never do anything to cause problems with his wife.

Thomas and Hope share a kiss, but Thomas has to get back to work. He needs to finish a design and show it to Hope for her opinion. Hope suggests that they collaborate at the cabin, which Thomas loves. He thanks Hope for seeing the good in him and helping him grow into a better person. Thomas admits that he will never stop hoping for a future with her.
Later, Thomas is designing when Steffy arrives. She tells Thomas that Xander has accused him of being responsible for Emma’s death again. She asks Thomas if there is any truth to the accusation. Thomas admits that Xander is right about one thing: he was a person of interest, but he was cleared. Xander won’t let it go, but Thomas adds that he did not kill Emma, but it was a senseless car accident. Steffy notes that the truth needs to come out, all of it.

Hope is at the cabin preparing a romantic setting when Liam arrives, but he realizes that he is interrupting something. Hope seems distracted, and he asks her what’s going on. She tells him that Xander Avant is back in town and is making Thomas’ life a living hell. Liam notices the ring around Hope’s neck and asks if it’s an engagement ring. She confirms that Thomas proposed to her, but she obviously didn’t say yes since the ring is around her neck instead of her finger. Liam tells her that the ring should not be on a chain, let alone her finger, but she says that it’s not up to him. He hopes that someday she realizes that Thomas is not good for her and gets out of the relationship.
Hope tells Liam that what Xander is saying isn’t true. She acknowledges that Thomas has done horrible things in the past, which he regrets and has taken accountability for, but being responsible for Emma’s death is not one of them. Liam is not convinced, and he wonders why Xander is bringing this up now. Hope thinks that Xander has an axe to grind since he was fired from Forrester. Xander was close to Emma and needs someone to blame. Hope maintains that what happened to Emma was an accident, not a crime. She says she doesn’t need protection from Thomas. Liam tells her that as long as she is in a relationship with Thomas, she will never be able to move past Emma’s death.
