Thomas tells Hope that she now knows everything about him; the good, the bad and everything. He pledges that there will be absolute transparency in their relationship moving forward. Thomas expresses his conviction in the bright prospects of their future together. He refuses to think that Brooke is right regarding her daughter’s potential to either emotionally harm him or give him back the ring.
Hope expresses that she has given considerable thought to the proposal, taking into account the insights provided by her mother and Ridge. However, she emphasizes that ultimately, the only opinions that truly matter are theirs. She admits that learning about his actions on that particular night was deeply unsettling. However, she now perceives him to be a man of action and not empty words.
Hope articulates that she feels safe around him and trusts him with her heart. While acknowledging his transformation and the sincerity of his love, she discloses her lingering uncertainties about the timing of the proposal. She resolves to continue wearing the ring close to her heart as their exchange concludes with a tender kiss. She notes that the kids will be gone for hours and she just wants him as she undresses.
RJ and Luna
In the design office, Luna tells RJ that her mother has advised her to let the matter go, and she intends to follow that advice. RJ apologizes for pressing the issue. He then informs her that he has arranged a special evening for them at the Beach House, but their conversation is cut short as Charlie interrupts to congratulate RJ on securing the place.

At the office, Ridge and Brooke engage in a kiss. Ridge shares that it is precisely what he needed. However, Brooke believes there is another reason he wanted to see her. Ridge mentions he believes they should discuss the news about Thomas proposing to Hope. Ridge asks about her feelings regarding the matter. Brooke expresses her concern, stating that, although they have agreed on everything else, this particular issue is an exception. She shares her worry about Thomas. She knows he loves Hope and worries that he may be setting himself up for heartbreak.

Zende interrupts searching for RJ and Luna. He wishes to show some designs to RJ, but Charlie informs him that they left. Charlie adds that RJ is now living at he Beach House. This news leaves Zende visibly shocked, leading him to leave. This sequence of events causes Ridge and Brooke to become concerned about the escalating rivalry between Zende and RJ.
As RJ and Luna arrive at the beach house, they start kissing. Luna reiterates that she is ready to take the next step. Just then, they are interrupted by a knock at the door. Zende enters and compliments the new location. After presenting his designs, RJ, cites that he is busy and promises to review them later. Zende then confronts RJ about his privileged status as the golden child, leading a lavish lifestyle in Los Angeles.
