B&B Recap: Bill and Poppy Kiss!

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, January 4, 2024:

What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Bill goes on a date with Poppy. Conflicted by Xander and Steffy’s dueling stories, Finn fears Hope may be in danger.

Steffy defends her brother to Finn. She wonders if Xander has come back to stir up trouble for her brother. She thinks they should support him because he is her brother. However, Finn doesn’t agree and thinks they can’t ignore Xander’s accusations. Steffy reminds Finn that the police have already ruled it as a car accident. Steffy says she is worried about Thomas but not about Xander’s accusations. She is more concerned about Hope using him, which could be devastating for him. Finn still thinks that Thomas has issues and that Hope needs to be protected. He is not taking Hope’s side, but he reminds Steffy that Thomas has done cruel things in the past. However, Steffy thinks that Xander is just trying to get back at Thomas because he got axed from Forrester and the family. Steffy acknowledges that what happened to Emma was terrible, but she believes that Thomas is not to be blamed. She begs Finn to drop it.

Thomas asks Hope if she wants to reconsider. She apologizes, but he tells her that he can wait. Although Hope is not wearing the engagement ring on her finger, Thomas thinks it looks beautiful right where it is, next to her heart, where it belongs. In the meantime, he promises to keep reminding her how happy he can make her. Hope says she is happy, but he suggests that she thinks about how much happier they can be as husband and wife. He apologizes for pushing her, noting that he won’t do it again because he understands that she is not ready yet. He reminds her that she is the only woman for him, and they share a kiss. 

Steffy arrives at Forrester Creations and has a talk with her brother about Xander Avant. Steffy tells her brother that Xander is back in LA, and he showed up at Finn’s office. She says he freaked out when he found out that she is Finn’s wife. Thomas tells his sister that this is no big deal, but Steffy says it is because Xander told Finn that he thinks he is responsible for Emma’s death. While Finn researches Emma Barber as Hope arrives and says she got his text that he wanted to see her. She assumes that this is about Thomas, and Finn admits that it is, and he is worried more than ever about her involvement with him. Hope finds it sweet that Finn is concerned about her but says Thomas has changed. Finn then proceeds to tell her that he learned something about Thomas today.

B&B Recap Today

RJ asks Luna to help him sketch, but she is lost in thought, thinking about her mom. Luna’s mother has not been with a man for a long time, but Bill could be the one who changes her life forever. To RJ, it seems like Luna is expecting a lot from a first date. RJ notes that Bill has quite a history with the ladies. While Luna knows RJ is not fond of Bill, she thinks he is an alright guy. Luna mentions her father and the fact that she doesn’t know him, as her mother never talks about him.

Bill and Poppy are at Il Giardino, getting to know each other. Poppy remembers the night they met but says that she hasn’t forgotten it, nor will she ever. She says she never heard from him again, though he apologizes and explains that he meant to call, but after the festival, he got busy with work. At that time, he was focused on building his company. Bill talks about Luna and how he has seen her success on the internet. Poppy mentions that Luna’s father was not in her life, and Bill assumes he must have been a jerk, but Poppy says he is not, because he did not know she was pregnant. Bill learns that Luna does not know who her father is. Bill compliments Luna, calling her a beautiful woman, and asks to see her again. Then they share a kiss.
