The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Friday, November 17, 2023
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Thomas passionately stands his ground with Brooke regarding Hope. Steffy queries Luna about her feelings for RJ.
B&B Recap Today
At dinner, everyone shares stories about their childhood. Steffy mentions that RJ and Luna are doing great in assisting Eric with his fashion line, which Luna calls the biggest highlight of her life. RJ agrees and says that Luna has been doing a great job. Steffy chimes in and says that’s what she heard too. They all agree that it was a sweet gesture for Ridge to let his father think he had won the fashion challenge.
Finn suggests that he and RJ go for a swim in the ocean, leaving Steffy and Luna to get to know each other better. Luna tells Steffy that she and Finn were super close when she was little, and he was always her protective older cousin. Steffy notes that it’s good to have him in her corner. Luna tells her that it has been a while, but she is glad that they are getting reacquainted again. RJ and Finn return, showing off their abs, and tell them that they are heading out. RJ begs Steffy not to grill Luna while they are gone. Steffy suggests that Luna could go out to the ocean one day, and RJ could teach her how to surf.
Luna opts to be honest and says everything RJ said about Steffy was true; she’s so compassionate. Steffy tells her she can definitely see that the feelings between her brother and Luna are mutual. RJ and Finn return, and RJ asks what the two ladies are talking about. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” says Steffy. Finn notes that he knows Luna was having some troubles with his mom, and Steffy asks what is going on. Finn promises her he will fill her in later. Finn then declares that whatever beef their moms have shouldn’t affect them, and Luna wishes their moms could get along.
B&B Recap Today
Brooke and Thomas are having a conversation at the office. Brooke suggests that Thomas should give Hope some space, but he responds by saying that he will follow Hope’s lead if she asks for space. Brooke advises Thomas not to overthink the situation between him and Hope, as it might just be a phase. However, Thomas refuses to believe that and remains hopeful that Hope will eventually open her heart to him.
B&B Recap Today
Hope and Liam are having an argument. Liam is appalled that Hope seems to have forgotten what Thomas did. However, Hope clarifies that she hasn’t forgotten, and she believes that if she continues to let the past rule her, she won’t be able to live in the present. Hope further explains that Thomas has apologized, taken accountability, and earned her trust.
Hope admits to Liam that she and Thomas are taking things one day at a time. Liam is curious if this means that they are not in a committed relationship and are only having a physical relationship. Hope confirms this, which surprises Liam, as he believes that Hope is not the type of person to engage in such behavior. Hope tells Liam that he doesn’t know her as well as he thinks he does and that he may have only been in love with the idea of her. She explains that Thomas truly understands her and puts her needs and desires first, and that’s why she loves him.
Liam is wondering if Hope wants to have another baby with Thomas. Hope responds that she might want another baby, but definitely not with Liam. She argues with Liam that Thomas only wants her and that’s what she wants too. She appreciates Liam’s concern, but she’s unsure if she’s making the right decision. She says that Thomas makes her happy and it’s her life now without Liam. Thomas arrives and asks Liam what he’s doing there. Liam pleads with Hope to end things then and there. However, Hope tells Liam that he doesn’t live there anymore; they will co-parent Beth, but Thomas is the man in her life now. Hope embraces Thomas as Liam looks on. Liam eventually leaves, and Hope and Thomas kiss as Liam watches from the outside.
