The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, Monday, November 27, 2023

What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Hope and Deacon go at it about the other’s dubious relationship choice. Ridge comes to terms with the fact that his father is dying.

B&B Recap Today

Hope visits her father at Il Giardino, where Deacon apologizes for not seeing her on Thanksgiving and expresses how much he misses her.

During their conversation, Deacon shares his concerns about Thomas not being right for Hope, but Hope defends Thomas by pointing out that he has changed for the better and is now a loving and caring man towards her. She also mentions that Thomas does not have conflicted feelings like Liam. Although Deacon understands her point of view, he asks why she can’t extend the same benefit of the doubt to Sheila. In response, Hope explains that Sheila is a dangerous person and warns her father that as long as Sheila is a part of his life, he won’t have access to hers. Despite their differences, both Hope and Deacon agree not to fight with each other.

B&B Recap Today

At the office, Brooke remarks that it’s a beautiful day, but feels it’s hard to enjoy Thanksgiving due to what they know. Ridge says that his father is deteriorating day by day, and they have to pretend that they are not aware of it. They remind RJ of how helpful he was in creating this line with Eric. However, RJ is worried about losing his grandfather. Brooke assures him that they are also worried about him, but RJ tells them not to be. Ridge encourages his son to not shoulder the burden of everything. RJ expresses that he wants to do everything for his grandad so that when he passes on, he would have done everything he could.

B&B Recap Today

Eric is spending time with Katie and Donna. Donna mentions that she sees a man who is at the top of his game. Eric talks about how some people may think he has nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, but he is grateful for being able to wake up every morning and go to work. He expresses his desire to go all out for his upcoming collection. However, he starts coughing while discussing plans for a big PR campaign. Concerned, Katie and Donna ask if he is okay, but Eric reassures them that he is not dead yet. With the world thinking he is at the top of his game, he doesn’t want that to change. They shift the conversation to his designs as he continues to cough. Donna gets him a glass of water and suggests they check in with the doctor, but Eric declines. He wants to spend his remaining days creating beauty. He thanks both Katie and Donna for their unwavering support and explains that he doesn’t want his dying to consume his living. Designing brings him peace, and he wants to continue doing what he loves.

During the conversation between Brooke, Ridge, and RJ, Katie interrupts them to share that she was just with Eric in his office. She tells Ridge that letting Eric win the fashion challenge is the most beautiful thing he could do for him. Ridge admits that he cannot imagine life without his father and the office without him. As Ridge and RJ go to be with Eric, Katie tells Brooke that Eric was coughing up blood. Brooke thinks they need to tell Eric the truth that they know about his illness so they can love and support him in the ways he needs until the end. Meanwhile, Eric shows Ridge and RJ the designs and tells RJ that he cherishes him for being his right-hand man. Ridge remembers designing with his father and asks to do one more collection with him.
