The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Thursday, October 26, 2023:
Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, RJ becomes emotional when Eric makes a heartbreaking admission.

Models try on the designs of Ridge and Eric respectively. At the office, Hope and Thomas admire Ridge’s designs. Ridge emphasizes that everything has to be perfect for the big day tomorrow. Thomas says the runway competition seems intense and the rules have been set. Ridge explains the rules of the competition. Thomas believes his father will win and he and Hope leave to let Ridge get back to work.
Hope and Thomas head to the design office. Hope expresses her admiration for the adjustments that Thomas made. As the showdown tomorrow looms, she admits that she is still in disbelief. Thomas suggests that they should focus on winning back their biggest budget, and believes that the best way to achieve this is for Ridge to emerge victorious.

At home, RJ tells Eric that his grandad is incredible because it seems like he is a machine. Eric loves this feeling and never wants to lose it. He points at RJ and says, “You did this.” As Eric checks out the design on the model, his hand starts shaking, but he assures her that it’s nothing that Martini won’t fix. RJ notices Eric’s hand shaking and expresses concern, but Eric tells him and Donna not to worry. According to Eric, the only person who needs to worry is Ridge because he is going down tomorrow. Eric notes that so much is riding on this, including his career and his life, which leaves RJ with questions. Donna informs Eric that RJ deserves to know the truth. Eric agrees and confesses that he is dying. RJ says that maybe it’s time to tell Ridge, but Eric disagrees. He then asks RJ and Donna for some time alone.

Charlie takes Esther and Lauren on a tour of Forrester and explains that the night before the big show is known as Mayhem. Lauren is grateful for the extensive tour and expresses her desire to see Ridge, so Charlie introduces them. Esther appears to be mesmerized by Charlie. Ridge thanks Lauren for attending the event. Esther expresses her admiration to Ridge, telling him that it is an honor to meet him and that his dresses are a dream come true. Lauren mentions that they met with Eric earlier and saw one of his beautiful designs. She adds that Forrester Creations is the best and she is eager to see what’s in store. Lauren asks Ridge for a sneak peek, but he politely declines, stating that everyone will have to wait. Esther expresses her excitement, feeling like she’s in a dream, and mentions that she will be surrounded by the most beautiful dresses in the world tomorrow, feeling like a princess.
