Many Bold and the Beautiful viewers had forgotten about Sydney Bullock’s first run as Ms. Dylan when the character returned in late 2025, following Luna Nozawa’s tragic death.
We first met Dylan in the spring of 2025, who was introduced as Hayes’ art teacher at the beach house where his classes were held. Back then, we didn’t know much about her—not even her first name—until recent closing credits revealed she’s Melissa Dylan.
From Day Player to Contract Star
When Dylan first appeared, she was impressed by a piece of origami Hayes had brought to class. After meeting Luna and discovering that Luna had actually made it, Dylan invited her to teach the class as well.
What Dylan didn’t know was that Luna, calling herself “Miss Sunshine,” was not sunshine. She was more psychotic and delusional than sweet. She was using Hayes to get to his mom, Steffy Forrester.
Ultimately, Luna held Dylan at gunpoint, forced her to bring Steffy to the temporary schoolhouse, then tied her up and stashed her in another room. Dylan only learned what had really happened when the cops freed her, and she discovered that Luna, Sheila Carter, and Liam Spencer had all been shot.
Romance for Dylan on Bold and Beautiful?
After all that chaos, Dylan went MIA for a while. Quite a while. However, she returned later in the year at Forrester Creations, and stunned Electra when she admitted she was the driver who accidentally hit and killed Luna.
Since then, she’s moved into the room above the garage at the beach house and has been hired at Forrester Creations.
Now that Sydney Bullock is officially on contract, it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing a lot more of Dylan moving forward. As she’s a part of the younger set, will she be getting a romance soon? Could it be RJ? Or maybe Will? Your guess is as good as ours.
