Today on The Bold and the Beautiful – November 21: Will and the Spencers light a candle in honor of the baby, and more. Read on as Soap Opera News recaps all the drama that unfolded.
B&B Recap November 21: Deputy Chief Baker Shares News
Deputy Chief Baker stands at the Spencer Estate, addressing the Spencer family. He talks about last night’s incident… Luna Nozawa is dead. It’s tragic. He knows. But Luna ran out into moving traffic and was fatally struck by a vehicle.
Chief Baker confirms that Luna had a miscarriage. He promises that, as far as Luna is concerned, none of them has to worry about her anymore. He leaves the Spencer family to process the news.
Lighting a Candle
Katie decides to light a candle in honor of the little Spencer they never had. Liam knows he will mourn the baby, but not Luna, who caused them so much harm. Will lights the candle, and Electra stands by him. Katie tells him he will be a good father someday. They are all there to help him put this dark chapter behind him.
Bill notes it’s a rough day, but their son handled it well. With Luna dead, he thinks it’s time for the Spencers to move forward and close this chapter. Meanwhile, Electra and Will head home to the beach house. She wonders if it’s okay that she’s there.
Will tells her that there’s no place he’d rather have her be. It’s not fair for her to deal with any of this. Electra notes that facing challenges is a kind of their thing.
He apologizes for his mistakes and promises to do better. He doesn’t know what he would do without her.
Finnegans Process the News
At the Cliff House, Finn and the family sit together, talking about Luna’s death. The impact is brutal. They can hardly believe she’s gone.
Finn tries to wrap his head around it. Li reminds him that, despite everything Luna does, she is still Finn’s daughter, and Poppy’s too. Poppy admits it’s jarring to lose her like this, but, honestly, Luna has been dead to her a long time.
Li can’t believe what she’s hearing, but Poppy defends herself. Taylor tells them it’s not the time to be pointing fingers. Poppy admits she loved her daughter, but she couldn’t help her again, and says she’s glad Luna is gone.
B&B Recap Nov 21: Steffy Asks a Question
In the absence of Li and Poppy, Taylor checks on Finn. He will be okay. Steffy says they’ve mourned Luna before, but Taylor notes that doesn’t make it any easier. She decides to leave them. Steffy then asks Finn how he really feels about his daughter’s death.
Stefy says if he’s not ready to talk about it, she understands. Finn lost a child he doesn’t really know. Luna needed a father, and he had no idea. By the time he found out, it was too late. He cannot change it, but it breaks his heart.
Steffy promises she will always be there for him.
Sheila Struggles
Sheila struggles to make sense of the fact that her granddaughter is dead. Deacon understands this is a shock, but he reminds himself that Luna broke out of prison.
Sheila can’t grasp what Luna is thinking, going after Will—she’s troubled. Deacon hopes Sheila isn’t making excuses for anything Luna does. He will support her, but he refuses to feel sorry for the monster who kills his friends.
Deacon isn’t saying Sheila can’t feel bad; he knows how important family is to her and understands the connection she had with Luna. Sheila thinks she and Li could have helped her, but Deacon says some people can’t be helped.
Sheila notes that Luna changed. Deacon reminds her that she and Luna aren’t the same. Sheila points out that she never condoned Luna’s behavior, but she loved her. He promises he won’t grieve for her. “Karma is a bitch, and it finally caught up with Luna,” Deacon says.
Deacon points out that Luna could have killed Sheila, too. Sheila is grateful she’s alive—and happy to be back with him, all thanks to Taylor.
