B&B Recap November 6: Brooke and Ridge Talk about Taylor
Brooke finishes a call with Hope, and then Ridge tells her he loves the beautiful smile on her face. She points out that there’s a lot to smile about — she and Ridge are back together, and Hope and Liam are engaged. Everything seems to be working out for the people she loves.
Ridge, however, admits there’s still someone he’s concerned about — and that’s Taylor.
Brooke acknowledges that she has no problem with Ridge being concerned about Taylor, after all, he was married to her and they share children. But Brooke adds that Taylor is a strong woman, and she wonders where her future will take her.
Brooke points out that they are happy and blessed, and she hopes Taylor can find that same happiness. She says maybe Taylor is on her way to it. Ridge, curious, asks if that means a new man might be in her future.
Steffy Swings by Forrester Creations
Later, Ridge finishes a call with Giovanni, who sends his regards to Brooke and suggests they meet up next time in Rome. Brooke, however, doesn’t know when that will happen.
She tells Ridge that she loves the way Giovanni cares about Taylor. Steffy walks in and agrees, saying she’s happy that Giovanni cares about her mom too. She admits she wanted Ridge and Taylor back together, but it didn’t happen. Steffy notes that her mom is so busy these days.
Brooke says she’s happy for Taylor and that she does care about her. Steffy acknowledges that both she and Brooke care about Taylor but adds that there’s no need to stay stuck in the past. Ridge then starts questioning Steffy about what her mom is up to these days since she spends so much time with her.
Steffy notes that her mom is fine and that she understands why her dad went back to Brooke, even though she doesn’t like that he broke her mom’s heart. She reassures Brooke that Taylor is doing well and has a lot to keep her happy.
Brooke, curious, asks if that means a new man. Steffy replies that she told her mom she would find someone new, someone who will make her happy.
Deacon Visits Taylor Again
Taylor is busy working when Deacon shows up, arriving early for his session. She looks up and asks how things are going now that he’s back with Sheila.
Taylor notes that Sheila came to thank her, and Deacon knows about it. He goes on to mention how much Taylor means to him, saying she’s someone he doesn’t want to lose.
Deacon shares that, even though he’s back with Sheila, he would like to continue seeing Taylor because she really helped him. He adds that there’s one more thing, he believes he can help her too.
Taylor is stunned but smiles at Deacon’s words. He explains that he knows all too well about heartbreak and that he’s not trying to bash Brooke, but he can understand things from Taylor’s perspective — how Brooke kept coming after Ridge even when he was with Taylor.
He promises that he will be there for her the way she’s been there for him. Deacon says he cares a lot about her and hopes he can help her get her head on straight, just like she did for him.
Taylor appreciates his concern but tells him it’s not necessary. Deacon, however, presses on, wanting to know if she is truly happy.
Deacon tells Taylor that she deserves someone who will make her happy, and in his opinion, Ridge is definitely the guy for her. He adds that if she’s hoping for Ridge and Brooke’s marriage to implode, she should let go of Ridge and move on.
He emphasizes that no one deserves to be admired, appreciated, and loved as much as Taylor does. As he holds her hand, he makes it clear that she deserves all of that and more.
B&B Recap Nov. 6: Steffy Confronts Sheila
Sheila is hard at work at the restaurant when Steffy shows up, commenting that things look like they’re going well. Sheila, surprised, mentions she heard Steffy was back in town. Steffy then adds that after everything Luna did, she’ll never understand why Sheila kept the secret from everyone.
Steffy admits she was shocked when Finn told her about Sheila’s involvement. She thought she’d never have to face that kind of evil.
Sheila, however, thinks she can move on now that Luna is in prison. Steffy points out that Sheila suffered no real consequences for her actions. Sheila disagrees, saying she almost lost Deacon, but now he’s back, and she’s happy.
Sheila reveals that Taylor saved her marriage. Steffy is stunned, considering everything Sheila has done to her mom. She can’t believe her mom actually did therapy sessions with Deacon. Sheila explains that she became a sounding board for Deacon — and so much more. It was Taylor who helped save her marriage, and Sheila says she will forever be in her debt for that.
