B&B Recap September 11: Ridge and Brooke Get Married
In the CEO, Ridge suggests to Brooke that they can get married right there and then. They have everything they need; Carter to officiate, a ton of rings to pick from, there’s nothing missing. Brooke agrees.
Carter chimes in, trying to remind Ridge that he has Taylor to think about. Ridge tells him that he already spoke to Taylor. They broke things off. He wants to marry Brooke right away. Brooke is excited.
Carter is clearly a little nervous — after all, Ridge just sprung this wedding on him. But he takes a breath and gathers himself, then turns to the couple with a smile.
He tells them that despite the surprise, he’s genuinely moved. Their love has stood the test of time. It may flicker now and then, but it always burns brighter in the end. It’s that kind of enduring love that inspires people — including him.
Carter Pronounces Them Husband and Wife
Carter says he’s honored to be part of this unforgettable reunion and to witness two people who keep finding their way back to each other, no matter what.
He asks if there is anything they want to say to each other. Brooke is first. She says she never lost hope. She never thought it would turn out like this, honestly, but she held on to the memories, to the love she has for Ridge and everything they’ve been through.
Ridge has his say. He wishes he could love her more than he does. He tells her that she is beautiful and promises that he will never take her for granted again. “You are beautiful, Logan,” he says.
Carter brings the rings and hands them over. As they each slide the ring onto the other’s finger, Brooke and Ridge exchange heartfelt words of love and commitment. It’s a moment Brooke has been dreaming of, and it shows — she’s completely over the moon.
With a warm smile, Carter looks at Ridge and says, “You may now kiss your Logan,” as he officially pronounces them husband and wife.
They kiss, then pull back just enough to look into each other’s eyes.
Will Struggles to Understand
Will struggles to comprehend that it was Luna that he slept with that night. He says it can’t be. After all, she was supposed to be dead at that time. And in reality, he would never sleep with her if he knew it was her. She reminds him that he was a bit out of it. But it did happen. They had sex, and it was the best she had ever had.
Luna thinks they can have a future together. However, Will says she keeps committing crimes, so that’s impossible. He says she can never be like Electra.
Luna agrees to a certain extent, as she calls Luna boring. She thinks what they had was exciting, and Electra could never give him that. Luna suggests that they have a repeat of what happened at his after-party.
Luna, trying to keep things light, jokes that if he insists on getting her locked up, maybe they can at least agree on conjugal visits — she’d be down for that. But he’s not amused.
He tells her he still can’t believe what she did, and this time, she’s going back to prison for good. No second chances. No way out. He’s stunned that Li saved her and makes it clear that his father won’t be stepping in to get her a pardon this time around.
Eric Is Team Brooke All the Way
Eric and Donna stop by Il Giardino, where Deacon greets them warmly. He brings up the recent news about Brooke and says he’s glad to hear she’s okay after everything that happened in Naples.
Eric agrees — he’s relieved too — and adds that Ridge was the one who saved her.
Eric doesn’t hold back. He says, as far as he’s concerned, Brooke and Ridge belong together. Even though he knows Taylor has deep feelings for Ridge, Eric believes that Ridge’s heart has always belonged to Brooke.
He’s convinced Ridge will end the engagement and go back to her. Donna agrees. She thinks it’s only a matter of time.
B&B Recap September 11: Ivy, Electa, and Katie Talk Business and Will
Ivy and Electra are in the design office, chatting as they work. Naturally, the topic drifts to Will and all the drama that’s been going on. Both women admit they’re relieved that Luna is out of the picture — things feel calmer now.
Just then, Katie walks in. The three start reviewing some work, but the conversation soon circles back to Will. Katie can’t help but reflect on what her son told her about his encounter with the mystery girl. It still lingers in her mind.
Even so, she’s quick to say that she truly believes Will and Electra have something special — something real.
Electra lights up. She speaks highly of Will, calling him thoughtful and genuine. She says she knows he won’t ever let her down.
