B&B Recap September 22: Sheila Has Hope for Luna
At Il Giardino, Sheila pours drinks for herself and Li as the two women talk things over.
Sheila figures Bill must be hitting the roof after finding out the truth about Luna. Li doesn’t think the Spencers are just going to take Luna’s word for it — they’re demanding a pregnancy test.
Sheila, on the other hand, thinks that if this baby really is Will’s, it might be the one thing keeping their granddaughter out of jail. Still, Sheila can’t help but wonder what exactly Bill has done with Luna.
Li says Luna got herself into this mess and insists she’s washed her hands of her. But Sheila reminds her that, like it or not, they’re both the girl’s grandmothers and should be there for her. Li fires back, saying what Luna did to Will is unconscionable.
Still, Sheila points out that neither of them wants Bill or the Spencers to send Luna back to prison just because she got pregnant by their “precious son.”
Li calls herself crazy for ever believing she could help Luna. She even says she wouldn’t be surprised if Luna’s entire scheme came straight out of Sheila’s playbook.
Sheila is taken aback that Li would even suggest such a thing and insists she had nothing to do with any of this. But Li isn’t buying it. She says Luna has been hinting for weeks that she’s not going back to prison, so clearly, she’s had this plan cooking for a while.
Electra and Will’s Special Night
Electra tells Will he should just go ahead and say whatever it is he needs to tell her, so they can get it out of the way and enjoy their night.
She doesn’t want anything hanging over them. She smiles and tells him she’s the happiest she’s ever been—and it’s all because of him.
Electra decides to grab them some wine and pulls out a special gift for Will while playing some nice music. She knows they’re young, but she toasts to their future together.
Electra says she loves the song and admits that even though people weren’t supportive of her decision to come to L.A., she doesn’t regret it. Seeing his smile that first time sealed the deal for her. She doesn’t think anything or anyone can come between them.
Will wants to believe that, too. He doesn’t want to hurt her, but he knows he has to tell her the truth. He tells Electra that something happened the night of his promotion party and that she needs to know about it. She tells him he can tell her anything.
Hope Reassures Katie
At the office, Katie is lost in thought, clearly shaken by what happened.
Hope walks in and gently asks, “Aunt Katie, are you alright?” Katie shakes her head and says it’s about Will.
She hesitates, not sure how much to say, but Hope picks up on it quickly. She mentions that Will and Electra are together, and that Electra is madly in love with him.
Hope starts asking Katie if Bill is supportive of Will’s relationship. Katie says yes, he is. Hope smiles, saying that after everything Electra’s been through, she deserves a guy as good and committed as Will.
Katie says Will loves Electra deeply and would never want to disappoint her, not in any way.
Luna Stands Up to Bill
Luna is stunned when Bill tells her he wants her to have an abortion—especially since this is Will’s baby.
Bill is firm, saying this pregnancy is going to end one way or another if the child is really his son’s.
Luna stands her ground and tells him he can’t force her, no matter how powerful he is. She’s shaken and furious, and says she thinks he’s a monster for even suggesting an abortion.
Bill warns Luna that whatever devious plan she’s cooked up isn’t going to happen. “You will never give birth to a Spencer child, let alone become Mrs. Spencer,” he snaps.
He makes it clear that if she thinks she’s in his league, she’s dead wrong—because there’s nothing he won’t do to protect his son.
Bill tells Luna she’s completely out of touch with reality, and his son will never love her. He says they don’t even know if the baby is really Will’s.
Luna insists she’s never been with anyone else. She’s confident Will would never suggest an abortion, not in a million years. She believes this baby changes everything and that she’s going to be the woman in Will’s life for years to come—her, Will, and their child, and there will be no Electra.
B&B Recap September 22: Katie Wants Luna to Pay
Later, Bill is on the phone, saying, “Not over the phone. This is something we have to discuss in person.”
Luna wonders if it’s the police and says she’s going to get some rest. Bill calls her a devious, conniving little bitch and says Li should have left her to die to save him the trouble. Luna heads off.
Katie walks in and asks for an update. Bill tells her they have to keep Luna’s return a secret for now while he figures out a plan. Katie says she was just with their son, who feels guilty over what Luna did.
She wonders what they’re going to do about it. Bill says there’s no way Luna is getting away with this. Katie notes that their son is with Electra right now, telling her everything.
