B&B Recap September 9: Taylor Lets Ridge Go
Taylor is done playing nice. She insists she knows exactly what Ridge is trying to do, and she’s not about to let him fall back into Brooke’s arms again. In a heated moment, Taylor declares that Brooke’s ridiculous hold over him ends today.
She reminds Ridge that he and Brooke never last, and bluntly asks if he really wants to go through that heartbreak all over again.
Ridge, clearly torn, tells Taylor she doesn’t understand and apologizes for hurting her. But Taylor just sighs.
Taylor wonders what Brooke did to convince him to choose her. Ridge notes that this is all him. He credits their moment in Naples and said he almost lost her, and it made him realize what it would be like to live without Brooke.
Ridge reminds her that he never meant to hurt her as she pulls him in for a hug. In tears, she tells, “I’ll be fine.” She says she is grateful for their time together, and the engagement shows her what she’s always known. In the back of her mind, everyone knew this was coming. “Brooke is your destiny after all,” she tells him. Ridge begs her not to run, and she promises she won’t. She is staying in L.A. because her life is there.
Katie Encourages Brooke and Ronna Debuts on Bold and Beautiful
Brooke is on her phone when Katie walks in and says bluntly, “Don’t do it.” Katie warns her that Thomas is getting into her sister’s head and stirring up doubts.
Brooke admits that Ridge hasn’t responded to her text, and wonders—what if Thomas is right? What if Ridge and Taylor really are setting a wedding date right now?
Later, Ronna arrives to pick up a gown for an upcoming event. She brings up Brooke and Ridge’s current status, reminding Brooke that while they may not be a couple at the moment, she shouldn’t give up hope.
After collecting the gown, Ronna leaves—and Brooke can’t help but check her phone again. Still no response from Ridge.
Brooke admits it might be concerning, but Katie tries to reassure her. Maybe Ridge hasn’t answered because he’s finally ending things with Taylor, and that’s why he’s preoccupied.
Brooke wants to believe that—she really does—but deep down, she’s afraid Thomas might be right… and Ridge could already be planning the rest of his life with Taylor.
Katie talks about what happened in Italy and how much he reminded Ridge of what he really wants in life: to be with his sister. Brooke says she could see it; he had every intention of coming back to her, but his sense of obligation to his family could win out.
Ridge Proposes to Brooke
Katie leaves, but not before encouraging Brooke not to ever lose faith in Ridge.
Later, Brooke is trying to work when memories of her life with Ridge come flooding in.
“Logan,” Ridge says as he enters. He tells her he loves her too much and doesn’t want to lose her. He throws down his jacket and presents a rose and asks her to marry him. And of course, she says yes.
Will Seeks Liam’s Help
Will approaches Liam and asks for help tracking someone down. He’s received a strange message from an unknown number and believes Liam is the best person to help figure out who’s behind it.
Will shares the mysterious text with Liam, who agrees to investigate. Will’s convinced that some girl is texting him, and he needs answers—fast.
As Liam starts digging, he wonders aloud if his brother has managed to attract someone just as unstable as Luna. And what’s with the mask? Will, for his part, is just glad Luna is out of the picture.
Liam manages to trace the number to a location and hands the details over to Will, who rushes off to confront whoever is behind the messages.
Li Has Advice for Luna
Li shows up and begs Luna to explain what’s really going on.
She offers to help Luna get her life together, but Luna seems distracted and unsettled. She mentions the dirty clothes she still hasn’t taken care of and wonders aloud what more she has to do to move forward.
But Luna is clear about one thing: her freedom is all she cares about now. As she prepares to leave, Li promises to do whatever it takes to help her build the life she truly wants.
Luna is looking at her pregnancy stuff when Will arrives and enters. She’s in the bathroom as he looks around.
B&B Recap September 9: Will Finds Luna
Luna frantically waits for the results, but the test isn’t ready. Growing anxious, she bangs on it in frustration, just as Will hears the noise.
He demands that whoever’s in there, come out now!
Luna panics, trying to convince him to leave. She pleads with him to go, swearing she’ll keep their secret safe. But Will isn’t backing down. His voice grows more intense as he delivers an ultimatum:
Either she comes out… or he’s kicking this door down.
With no other choice, Luna slowly steps out—and Will is stunned.
His eyes go wide. His voice shakes. He drops into the bed. “No… no, no,” he says, citing that she’s supposed to be dead.
The truth hits him like a freight train. Luna’s alive!
