Brad Everett Young, a well-known photographer, actor, and creative director, has died at the age of 46, following a tragic accident.
In a statement shared with The Buzz, from his publicist, Paul Christensen:
“Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched. He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official. His family asks for your prayers and thanks you for their privacy at this time.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, his publicist shared, “Young had seen a movie and was driving alone on the 134 Freeway late Sunday night when his car was struck by a vehicle going in the wrong direction.”
Young died on the scene, while the other driver survived and was hospitalized.
Who Was Brad Everett Young?
Born and raised in Virginia, Brad graduated with a Bachelor of Science and initially planned to attend medical school in Los Angeles. However, after moving to L.A., he began pursuing his passion for acting.
According to his IMDB profile, as the middle child of three, Brad also minored in Journalism and Psychology. He served as Editor-In-Chief of both his high school newspaper and college news magazine, where he redesigned the publication from a traditional newspaper to a news magazine.
In addition to leading the editorial team, Brad was the lead graphic and layout designer for both publications. His skills extended to photography and advertising campaign management, achievements recognized by Pi Kappa Phi in their national magazine, The Star & Lamp, where he was a member.
He was also the creator of Dream Loud Official. It is a non-profit organization that was formed to help save the Art & Music programs in schools.
A Big Name Photographer
Once in Los Angeles, Brad continued to develop his photography career, capturing well-known celebrities at high-profile events. His subjects included stars from General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, Beyond the Gates, Hallmark, and Lifetime movies.
Many of his photographs have been published, with examples showcased on his official website.
Brad also appeared in small roles on popular TV shows such as 90210, Grey’s Anatomy, and Charmed. He would often share his photography with his over 2 million Instagram followers on his account @bradley206.
