Congratulations are in order for Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma Scorpio-Drake, General Hospital) on her latest academic accomplishments. Silzer recently graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, California.
Silzer shared a couple snaps of her in her graduation gown and her cape and captioned, “That’s a wrap“. She was also crowned prom queen at her prom this year and will be attending Point Loma Nazarene University to study nursing in the Fall.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Silzer talked about sporadic visits to General Hospital. “Every time I’m there, everyone just like, stops and stares at me and they’re like, ‘What?! How are you so big?’ It’s kind of funny because it happens every time. I mean, there are pretty big gaps in between when I visit, so everyone thinks I get bigger each time.”
Brooklyn Rae Silzer also revealed that, with college on the horizon, she was applying for nursing school. “Because ever since I started, I’ve known I wanted to be a nurse, I think since I was six years old. I always said, ‘I want to be a nurse when I grow up,’ and it just stayed with me, and I’ve become more inspired as I’ve been doing volunteer work throughout my high school years.”
