Love Island may be over, but a new bombshell has entered the villa—oops, we mean Salem! Brytni Sarpy, of General Hospital and The Young and the Restless fame, is coming to Days of Our Lives. Sarpy has landed a mystery role on the Peacock soap.

DAYS announced Sarpy’s casting on August 24, sharing a photo of the actress outside her dressing room at the show’s Burbank studio. The details about her character have not been revealed but due to the show’s far advanced taping schedule, Sarpy is expected to make her first appearance sometime in mid-2027
Brytni Sarpy’s Soap History
Sarpy made her first daytime debut as Valerie Spencer, the daughter of pat Spencer on General Hospital in 2015 who later became involved with Dante falconeri.
Sarpy remained with GH until 2019, when she joined the Young and the Restless as Dr Elena Dawson, she was introduced through Devon Hamilton’s storyline and the two eventually became a couple. Her time in Genoa city also included relationships with Nate Hastings and several years working at the Genoa City Memorial Hospital. Her last appearance on Y&R was in November 2024
Sarpy Auditioned for DAYS
Before joining General Hospital, Sarpy auditioned for DAYS and made it to the screen-test stage
Sarpy also has some close friends already on set, namely Sal Stowers, who plays Lani Price Grant. The two are longtime friends.
For now DAYS has not revealed who Sarpy will play or what brings her character to Salem. With her debut several months away additional details about her role will likely be announced closer to her first airdate.
