Carson Boatman (Johnny, Days of our Lives) takes center stage as the leading man in Skylar Simone’s latest music video for her single, “WhatsInIt4me.” After dropping her debut EP, Shiver, this summer, our favorite R&B diva came back swinging with her catchy single “What’s In It 4 Me,” or as she stylishly calls it, “WhatsInIt4Me.”
With Trackside producing, this jam is radio-ready and already buzzing. It cleverly samples that iconic 2003 track “I Know What You Want” by Busta Rhymes and Mariah Carey, featuring Flipmode Squad!
The music video, directed by Nick Walker, features Simone rocking a white fur coat, strutting down an empty road. And just when you think it’s all glam, things get spicy at a house party where Simone encounters a guy (played by Days’ Carson Boatman). While she’s busy prepping in the bathroom, this guy pulls a fast one by setting up a hidden camera to capture all the ‘excitement.’ You’ll have to tune in to the must-see video below! Boatman is an actor and musician who is also a part of the Day Players Band (with some of his Days colleagues). Meanwhile, Sklyar is a singer, songwriter, and actress who dipped her toes into the music pool with her debut studio album, This Is Me, released in 2015.
