Georgie Jones was born March 7, 1995, and was the youngest daughter of supercouple, Frisco and Felicia Jones, and also was raised by Malcolm “Mac” Scorpio. Georgie was conceived when Frisco come to Port Charles when Maxie (Georgie’s big sister) was waiting on a heart donor. Georgie was born under a table at Luke’s Club on opening night (soaps have the best births). Then kidnapped by Ryan Collins (who was obsessed with Felicia) as a baby. What a start to soap life!
Georgie (and Maxie) didn’t have the most stable upbringing to say the least. Frisco and Felicia were most definitely not hands-on parents (in and out of their daughter’s lives). Ironically, their most stable parent might have been Mac their adoptive/stepfather. During Georgie’s younger years, she went back and forth from living with her grandmother in Texas to living in Port Charles (with some combination of Felicia and Mac).
The character was SOARS to 13 in 2002 and kidnapped (again). This time kidnapped because Felicia’s then-boyfriend, Roy DiLucca, was working for mobster, Luiz Alcazar, who kidnapped Georgie to make a point to Roy. Kidnapping can be sort of the norm for children on soaps. But Georgie’s character embedded real-life adolescent challenges as well. She lived in the shadows of her big sis Maxie. Georgie was smart and sensible. Maxie was more of a lightning rod. And studios Georgie didn’t attract a lot of attention from the boys. But Georgie still “crushed”. She crushed on Lucas Jones but he crushed on big sis Maxie, although Maxie didn’t share Lucas’ affections.
Georgie invented a guy when she wanted to attend a party Maxie was having and Maxie didn’t want her around. Georgie kissed Dillon Quartermaine to keep up her lie when Maxie and Lucas showed up at Kelly’s. The kiss hooked Dillon. But Georgie still pinned for Lucas. So much so, she planned to break her virginity with Lucas on prom night. But Dillon and Maxie “broke” up that idea when they schemed to have Georgie see Maxie kissing Lucas. And when Lucas told Georgie regardless of the setup, he only saw her as a friend, she finally gave up on her dream of her and Lucas.
Georgie started to have feelings for Dillon. Georgie and Dillon, of course, don’t fall in love and live happily ever after. Mac’s opposition to them dating (he thought Dillon was a bad influence) and Dillon’s employment with mobster, Lorenzo Alcazar, proved to be the main initial angst for the young couple.
Alcazar’s niece, Sage, came to Port Charles and Dillon was hired by Alcazar to keep an eye on her. That led to Dillon taking Sage out of the country to ensure her safety. Georgie teamed up with Dillon’s mom, Tracy Quartermaine to get Dillon to quit his job with Alcazar. But you know Tracy always thinking of how she can get what she wanted, agreed but with conditions. Georgie had to break up with Dillon. Both ladies kept up their end of the deal.
Dillon was heart broken when Georgie broke up with him. So “heart broken” he gave his virginity to Sage (yeah I’m not buying it either lol). Georgie walked in on them and that was the “end” of them, until they were trapped in the Port Charles Hotel fire and confessed they still loved each other. They got back together.
They finally consummated their love but soap life continued to bring more challenges for the couple. Georgie almost died after a fall, Dillon was thought to be the campus stalker and Georgie was kidnapped (yes again) by the real stalker, Diego Alcazar.
The couple did marry. It wasn’t the most “romantic” wedding. They wed when Dillon was thought to be dying from a virus during a hospital quarantine at General Hospital. But they were married.
Even though Dillon recovered there would be no prolonged wedded bliss for them. Tracy who accepted the couple more when Dillon was on his deathbed, cut Dillon off. The young couple found themselves young, married and broke.
Also, Lulu Spencer had her eyes set on Dillon. She teamed up with an out of jail Diego to break up Dillon and Georgie. Lulu wanted Dillon and Diego wanted Georgie. Lulu lied to Dillon about seeing Georgie and Diego having sex. Dillon believed Lulu over Georgie. Then he slept with Lulu…my goodness (Dillon sure had interesting reactions that caused him to end up in bed with women).
Georgie began dating Diego. Dillon found out Lulu lied. Georgie and Dillon divorced but did try again to make their relationship work. Then Lulu got pregnant for Dillon and aborted the baby. Dillon was devastated. That time Dillon didn’t run into the arms of another woman for comfort. He decided to be a real “Q” and had a self imposed dramatic personality makeover. There was no going back for Dillon and Georgie. They realized “it” was gone. Their relationship was over.
Georgie started having feelings for quirky Damian Spinelli. But they would never get a real chance. There was a serial killer in Port Charles, The Text Message Killer. Georgie saved Maxie from becoming a victim (twice). The second time Georgie was a victim herself when she was strangled to death in the park by the serial killer on December 17, 2007. It was later discovered that Georgie had intercepted a text meant for Maxie and went to the park herself. She died trying to protect her sister.

Ghost Georgie has appeared several times mainly to sister Maxie to help and counsel her in times of need. Georgie though gone is not forgotten. She is often mentioned, remembered and honored in Port Charles.
