Chris McKenna is back in the soap opera scene as Jack Brennan on General Hospital, and he’s having an exciting time both on and off the screen. Recently, he celebrated two significant milestones with his 8-month-old son, Spencer J. McKenna. In a heartwarming video shared on Instagram, Spencer can be heard saying his first words, “Dada,” after spotting his dad on TV. “When Spence sees pop on TV,” Mckenna quipped as he shared a snippet of the moment on Instagram.

Just two days later, Chris McKenna shared another moment of joy as he posted a video of his son, Spencer crawling for the first time. He excitedly explained that the little one was motivated by his desire to reach the remote. He joked, “I presume to turn on #GH.

Chris and his partner Lovisa eloped during the pandemic after announcing their engagement in 2020. They welcomed baby Spencer on July 6, 2024. Before his role on General Hospital, McKenna was known for his work as young Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live from 1990-93. He also played Detective Mark Harding on The Young and the Restless from 2014-15, and Dr. Hayden on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2016.
