Colin Cassidy is taking over the role of Aiden Spencer on General Hospital, as the role has been recast yet again. Soap Opera Digest was the first to report the news. Look for Cassidy to make his debut in the peisode, which airs on September 30.

Aiden, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) son, made his screen debut back in July 2010! The role has since been played by a number of actors. Two sets of twins played the little guy as a baby, then Titus Jackson — who’s actually Jonathan Jackson and his wife Lisa Vultaggio’s real-life son — took over the role from 2011 to 2012. After that, Jason David played Aiden from 2012 to 2021 until Enzo De Angelis stepped in. Then, in May 2024, Tristan Riggs took the reins as Aiden.

Colin Cassidy tells Soap Opera Digest, ” I feel incredibly grateful for this opportunity. To be thrown in with the incredible actors I’m working with and have these amazing scenes to do … It’s really not something to scoff at! It’s a big deal and I’m very grateful.”
