Here comes another soap swap! After Days of Our Lives star Billy Flynn made his debut on The Young and the Restless as Cane Ashby, there’s now a new change coming to Days. Conner Floyd, who’s been playing Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless since 2021, is set to take over the role of Chad DiMera. Exciting?
According to Deadline, Floyd starts filming today. But since Days of Our Lives tapes so far in advance, we won’t actually see him on screen until April 2026. Yeah, long wait, but we’re sure it will be worth it.
Floyd, who stepped into Chance’s shoes as a recast on Y&R a few years ago, was recently dropped to recurring status.
As for the character of Chance, there’s no word yet on what will happen to him on Y&R. This week, Chance gets caught up in the drama that is happening in France with the return of Cane. You won’t want to miss it.
