Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) met in 1983 and were an instant fan-favorite pairing and a super couple in the making. What followed was a fantastically soapy love story that spanned decades and that even death couldn’t put an end to.

This week they defied death to once again be reunited as Hope was able to break through his brainwashing. But sadly, just as Bo’s voice cracked as he called her “Fancy Face”, and Hope’s smile lit up her face as she realized she had her hero back a gunshot rang out and Bo collapsed. Hope looked over and was horrified to see their son Shawn (Brandon Beemer) holding the gun and then sank to the ground desperately trying to save her husband’s life.

At the hospital Hope was so devastated when Bo died from his injuries that she collapsed, having a beautiful dream of how their reunion could have gone, and when she came to, she was told that his heart had started beating again as soon as she collapsed and he was in surgery. Bo made it through the surgery but slipped into a coma so for now, happily ever after is still on hold for this beautiful pairing but none of us are giving up “hope” and like Hope, we’re all holding out for her, and our, hero!

Enjoy this gallery of their tumultuous and romantic time together this week! And then hop over to Peacock and watch the amazing montage they played while Hope was trying to get through Bo’s brainwashing!
