The Mourning Hour is a film written and produced by Shevaun Kastl. Shevaun plays Virginia Bakely. Brandon plays her husband. Set in 1950’s America, Virginia Bakely embarks on an emotional and psychological journey of reawakening upon learning of the death of her husband.

Brandon Barash states, “I love supporting Independent Films. You really get to get in there and explore these characters and these relationships from all sides. Shevaun wrote a great script. The story that came out of her soul was beautifully poignant.

Our director – Susan Cohen – was beyond brilliant and I got to meet and work with one of my favorite character actors – Robert Knepper.

So it was a lot of fun.” Brandon is also a producer of the film.
