Thumbs up to NBC’s This Is Us for giving Days of Our Lives a shoutout!
Days of Our Lives has been much in the news lately, from the report of cast members being taken off contract to another renewal, the show has been mentioned a lot on social media. And, now on one of primetime’s most popular series, This Is Us which stars former soapie, Justin Hartley.
In the most recent episode titled A Hell of a Week: Part Two (episode 12 of season 4) which aired on January 28, Kevin (Hartley) was disappointed that Rebecca (Mandy Moore) didn’t watch his first TV job, which was a leukemia patient on Days of Our Lives. While his lines got cut, he confirmed that he still made it on camera. Luckily, Claire lavished about seeing his small-screen debut in the soap world and suggested he go back to the producers and demand another scene with lines in it.
Hartley is known for his soap roles as Fox Crane on Passions and Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless. He was also married to two soap beauties; Lindsay Hartley-Korman (DAYS, Passions, All My Children) and Chrishell Stause (AMC, DAYS and Y&R).
Thumbs up again to This Is Us for some primetime promo for the soap fans!
